Here's a picture demonstrating the difference in size between the VB2.0 and Pinnacle, both with their respective water tools attached.

I think he said it was going to be 219 when it first comes out; which might be a bit of a tough sell when the inhalaterXP is 250 with 10 temp settings. It seems that the pinnacle uses a charging base too which kind of turn me off. Is there no way to work a microUSB port into the vape?

Either way TRVB your vapes are getting more and more polished every iteration and I'm happy to see you starting to implement convection in your designs. I wish I had the wherewithal and means to do what you do, designing and bringing these things to market is hard.

What kind of battery is in the pinnacle and what kind of life can be expect from it?

99% sure they are going to be 219.99 and 379.99 with the water tool. It will not be more than that. As always, an FC discount will be given.

The VB2's stand was just a stand, not a charging station, so my guess is that it will be the same for the Pinnacle.

trvb...that little water looks to be the shit!

    oh man !

look at that red vb2 ! looks sweet. whats the story there ?

is that a little dark glass worked in on the dlx water tool near the bottom ?

back on topic...the water piece for the pinnacle is looking nice 'n compact. very cool. so it adds $100 to the price, not too bad really. whole setup ends up being a only foot tall. slick.

It actually adds $160 to the price. You could buy a Solo for that. But lets just wait and see how good this thing is really working.

From 219.99 to 379.99 are 160$ of difference, not 100$. Any news about battery life?

ooooof ! bad math, sorry dudes. i rounded the 19 to 20 and 79 to 80 and combined them without thinking. i'm sure forums of this nature aren't the best place to show off my lack of math skills, heh.

I do not understand the comparison, how does a scientific glass water filtration unit compare to a solo? You could also buy 3 video games or a pair of Jordan's with a pack of socks! Pardon the sarcasim, I just dont understand how a WT and solo are comparable.

As for the base, it is just a stand to support the weight of the water tool.

They do not compare. I was just trying to say that the difference between 100 and 160 is still a lot of money. I am sorry if i offended your material, this was not intended.

You didn't offend me, I was just trying to understand. It's all good. And you're right, $160 is a lot of money, but the 2.0 WT cost more and they have sold very well. To each his own I suppose. The price isn't even official on that WT, I am hoping we can sell the whole pack for $350 but that isn't looking realalistic. I will give you a hard price as soon as the item is for sale. Trust me, I want to sell things as cheap as possible.

I trust you on that. They both are great products and the pricetag is not scaring me off enough to say no to this awesome looking vape. I think that a lot of people will be interested in this vaporizer and the WT. It sure caught my attention when i saw this thread!

I am a newbie when it comes to glass, so i have NO idea what to expect from it. All i have is a simple Ehle 250ml with a diffuser downstem (and i love mine!)

The red is new, they are currently for sale. No worked WT's yet, but the pinnacle will most likely have some at some point.

There was also a blue/black vb2 at the hempcon.

Edit: But yeah, to get back on topic... trvb let me know that my wt for the pinnacle is on its way. Sometimes the anticipation is the best part.

I will report back with my findings. :science:

    Affirmative, it's just a stand.

Yes, similar to the inh but the capsules are ss (I think).

Here's what it looks like dis-assembled.

The package comes with an extra mouthpiece, which is flavored. Spare mouthpieces are also sold on their website.

As far as battery life goes, I was able to go through 5 bullets (1g total) before I had to recharge.
Here's a brief comparison of the VBP against the vapes you mentioned:
    • Pax: I think the VBP is about on par with the Pax in terms of pocket friendliness. Although the VBP isn't as inconspicuous as the Pax, it also doesn't have the problems associated with the Pax (mouthpiece sticking/not engaging, frequent maintenance). I give a slight edge to the Pax in terms of flavor, but only by a bit.
    • Solo: The Solo trumps the VBP in terms of flavor and is lower priced, but if I had to choose one to take with me to a concert/party/walk etc. I would go with the VBP. If you want more precise temp control, then go with the Solo.
    • Inh: IMO, the VBP produces better flavor than the Inh. I prefer the steel "bullets" over the Inh capsules. I also appreciate the fact that the Pinnacle doesn't look like a dildo. :lmao:
    Hope that helps!

I'd also like to add one other thing I found. The regular cleaning process is really easy (I just brush the bullet, heating chamber, and chamber lid screen). However, if you want to give the screen on the heating chamber a thorough cleaning or replace it, know that it doesn't just slip right back in (giggidy).

You poke the screen out (the included "utility tool" doesn't fit through the mp hole, so I just use a toothpick) pretty easily, but the fit is pretty snug, so it took me a couple of minutes to get the screen seated again.

Slightly annoying and something to keep in mind for prospective buyers.

my LHS owner got a couple of WT's so he could display the VB2 with them all standing up...looks great. He got the funky one and it looked pretty slick!

I'll be giving him a look at this Pinnacle setup in a day or two after I see it.

So for flavour, here's how it boils down: Solo > Pax > VBP > INH004.

I'm a bit puzzled by this. The Pax is easily the worst tasting of all the vapourizers I own or have tried. Unfortunately the Pax is also the only one in this list that I've used. Based on what I know about the VBP vapour path, I don't understand how it wouldn't taste better than the Pax. Also, the consensus from posts I've seen comparing flavour from the Pax and INH004 is that the Pax is inferior.

I realize that taste is a personal thing, but your ranking seems to me to fly in the face of what I would have expected.

When you are comparing the flavour to the PAX, are you talking about the PAX on a low setting? On low it tastes fine, but anything above that :puke:

I would have imagined the basket design of the pinnacle would have placed it way above the PAX overall in terms of taste.

hey TRVB... why not opt for a easily replacable battery... like TV and D9 stuff?

i kinda feel like its a step backwards to have to charge the whole unit and not just pop another cell in there.

I really do not know the answer to that. My engineer is a bit of a control freak and he doesn't like the idea of the customer doing anything to the units. I talked him into the replacable battery on the first VB, and then that was it. I'll bring it up in the next meeting.

My 2 cents on the taste discussion is I agree with Pak. I have used a pax, inh04, puff it and solo. In order I put:

1/2. VBP and solo. Both are unaltered and pure tasting
    3. INH04
    4. Puff it
    5. Pax

This goes for taste only. Now once you add a water tool to a pinnacle the list becomes

    1. Pinnacle Dlx
    ------------------
    2 - 20. Everyone else.

Pinnacle with WT is heads and shoulders the taste champion. Sticks will have his today, so we will have mother opinion soon.

Yeah, when thinking about how I rate the flavor, I was thinking about low settings:
    • Pax: yellow
    • Solo: 3
    • Pinnacle: white
    • Inh: 5 (no, it's not the lowest setting, but it's where I typically start with the inh)
Granted, I didn't do a true side-by-side comparison, trying each device within a few minutes of each other (although that seems like a fun idea :science:), nor did I run the same strain through all four in order to make it really apples-to-apples (again, worth exploring, :freak:).

The Pax was the first vape I ever owned, so perhaps there's a bit of sentimental value subconsciously leaking into my rating. In my mind the Pax and VBP are like 2a and 2b (after the solo).

Many people don't feel that there's any taste alteration from the materials used in the inh, but personally I notice a difference. As pak mentioned, taste is very subjective, so to each his/her own.

When it comes down to it, I have absolutely no complaints about the flavor of the VBP and doubt anyone else will.
