So I just wanted to jump in say high! After several email exchanges between myself and Sleepin, I now have a Persei on the way. Lets just say that i didn't set out to buy a "pen" and don't use concentrates all that often. That said, I'm very excited to get the new toy.

I plan on using it for skiing, concerts and festivals (Lockn' !), and for a late night dab when my back is aching and I can't sleep.

Mine comes with the KISS cart and a single top. I just want to warn you guys that I will probably have a shitload of questions once I get my hands on this. Before talking to Sleepin in CA, I was clueless about these devices. I know a lot more, but...

KISS cart- All I could find out was that you put the concentrate on a toothpick and stick it in. I don't need a concentrate loader? I know I saw a video of a cartridge being loaded with a stainless bowl type thing and then heated to create the oil that then dripped into the tank.

How many hits (generally) do you get from a fully loaded KISS cart?

It says that you can load anything into the KISS cart and it works. I mean, not flowers, of course, but wax, shatter, etc. We make our own QW Everclear that sometimes comes out as shatter and sometimes wax. Will I be able to use both in the KISS cart?

What would be better than a KISS cart for our product? BTW, we also can get BHO locally, but have to pay like $60 a gram.

What else should I buy for this bad boy?

I am making persei believers left and right. I love showing people this stuff. Speaks for itself. @Tstat the kiss is the new attachment. Nothing needed to load but a finger or a dabber depending on wax stability. You can do all oils except water/liquid ones in a kiss. You are set my friend. If you have questions.....you are in the right spot! Also they hold about a .3 and average like 5 really good rips for me. Then a bunch of mediums....then a reload. Roughly of course.

To answer about the KISS. You can get a few good hits from a small amount loaded at a time. Think a ball the size of a BB. It is forgiving of all types of concentrate but the "dirtier" it is the more crusty the coil will get.

You should also look into getting a Hercules SR-74. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is well worth the effort. The SR can hold a larger amount so you can load up and venture out into the world. But you might want some extra batteries.2x(aw IMR 18650 2000 mAh) and an SS kit for longer battery life. IMO
For stealth the SS kit and 3.7v KISS cart are the best way to go. IMO. I hope this helps.:wave:

I was just thinking that I should probably do some research before bombarding the thread with stupid questions. In fact, I was coming back to delete the questions, LOL. But, like most places here on FC, you guys are awesome.

The KISS seems like it will work perfectly for when I'm home and need that late night pain relief. I'd like something else that lasted longer, too. As I said, I foresee 2 uses for this- the other being skiing, the beach, and festivals. I'd rather not have to mess with loading after a few hits in those situations.

I am NOT a heavy user of concentrates (at least not yet!) but we do have a trip to Colorado in a few weeks and I'd like to bring this. I'm even hoping some dispensaries in CO will have pre-filled carts for this. I'm not sure how that works, yet.

No prefilled stuff for W9 products. In fact most prefilled stuff is overpriced and undermedicating IMO, and are usually model specific (O Pens and what not).

Also it would then seem like the Hercules SR74 would work well for you. You can throw the better part of a gram in there and not ever worry about it, and it will give you instant vapor in a bomb proof cartridge (like the Persei, this thing is built like a tank).

Plus flavor retention is unparalleled in the portable segment of the market.

Since youre going to CO see if you can score some good quality shatter.

Yea, cool. I didn't know what the deal was with pre-filled shit. I mean I have tried the ones mixed with glycerin or something, which I din't like. So, it looks like I am going to try to get a SR74 before we leave.

And yea, we plan on making a few stops on the way to Summit County. I can't get over how many stores there are already, and with huge menus. This is a trip I make each year with my son. Usually we go to Utah and it's a heavy drinking trip. Since we don't drink anymore, this trip is going to be a stoner trip. Gonna grab some concentrates, edibles, soda, etc!

Ok, last question for today... how thoroughly can these carts be cleaned? I'm just thinking about bringing it back on the plane.

@Tstat careful what you wish for, or you might end up like me! Seriously though, I started with just one. Then the Hercules, then the ss kit, then it just snowballed. I love it.

Seriously, in like a week I'm gonna be your new favorite person for showing you the way! Lmao.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the KISS cart and the SR-74. These are my first UPTECH products. Will the persei take a while to get used to being that its higher powered? I only have experience with a 6V Thermovape revolution and a Thermovape cera.

The HERCULES I use a lot!
The prefilled carts suck and are over priced and deliver spliting headaches.

Load your own carts with HONEY COMB BLONDE in color or SHATTER.

CO2 oil was great when it first came out however its so cut with PG it's a crying shame.

I make my own SHATTER these days because I control the quality.
Concentrates are the by product of trim after a harvest as you know already. Make sure if you buy it it's lab tested at least!

In COLORADO I don't know however in CALIFORNIA be careful!

The K.I.S.S. carts are easy to use also. I still use the old school 2.4 cartridges. There is a learning curve.
For that reason the HERCULES is very easy to use and extremely.
powerful!

The BENDER is not a portable vaporizers in the sense of ease.
However I love this little thing.
I stir between rips.
Get this later if you want?

Yes. The Hercules in particular. It is designed to be user serviceable and will cause issues if directions are not followed, we did a little video today on the SR74 assembly.

@ScienTiFiC. I'm about to pull the trigger and i just want to know when the matte black Persei's will be back in stock any time soon? Color would not a be a deterrent.

Will the black cart for the 74 be able for purchase down the road. Not sure if this is tied up at customs.
