haha, those are the batteries I use. and after 4 years of use, i'm not surprised they under-perform.

So it is SiC inside of the coil? I just ordered one and some Sour Tangie terpenes from you last night, pretty damn excited to test this out.

I just ordered two Trinity tanks, excited to try them out.

I have one main concern with the tanks, and that is leaks. Should I expect some leaking if the tank gets to 90-100°F while in my pocket outdoors? What about if left in a car?

I ventured into EJMix and used ecig equipment a few years ago. I got good hits, but leaks always came back to bite me. That precious golden liquid is valuable, I can't take too many leaks.

Excited to be able to liquefy with terpenes instead of PEG/PG/VG/etc. Went ahead and went with non-cannabis derived terps this time, to test the waters so to speak.

Will you be using Terpenes to thin anything out?

What state will your oil be when at 100F?

Will your oil produce pressure when terpenes are added?

Are you willing to modify your ways to fit the need for the Trinity?

Let me know and i can better prepare you for the Trinity experience.

I've ordered some terpenes to experiment with. I plan to use them to thin out some clean and stable shatter I have.

How do I know if my oil will produce pressure when terpenes are added? Is there some sort of general rule, or do you just have to experiment? Been trying to catch up with this thread the past day or two and remember someone (probably you?) recommending letting the terp mix sit for a day or two to fully equalize. Or at least burp the Trinity if filled immediately.

Is there anything else that can be done to alleviate possible pressure and leaks?

I haven't mixed up my terps and concentrate yet, so I can make it whatever consistency you recommend. I planned to start low, with a very viscous liquid. That way at warmer temps it doesn't become too thin and runny. Would you recommend starting with just 1 or 2 drops per gram?

The tank won't always be at such high possible temps, but they are always an option. An outdoor summer concert, with the tank in my pocket, I'm sure that get's pretty warm.

Yes, definitely willing to do what's needed if I can have a leak proof and discreet option.

    Appreciate the help.

You have to remember the heater is a 14 watt Titanium/SiC Hybrid. It is about 120% more powerful then standard nichrome heaters found on tanks these days.

This creates more heat when powered, necessary to power the heater for clean tasting hits but the drawback is the heat that is left, so cold draws to cool it down help make the oil thicker to prevent it from free flowing into the vaporization chamber.

I would recommend starting from 2 drops per gram mix well and add another drop or two if needed.

Then let the concentrate sit a few days and mix in between again to get rid of the pressure it builds up. Believe me some people mix it and add to tank and it works great some do the same steps creates pressure in the jar and tank.

The one thing i can say is make sure it does not produce bubbles.

We test our tanks with ejuice and they dont leak but thats at room temperature max at 80F. But there is a trick to reducing any unwanted leaks.

You should start inhaling right before you press the button, and keep inhaling even after you let go of the button.

Allow some time between hits for the Heater to absorb more oil, at same time take a few cold hits to cool it down.

Rinse repeat and once done do a couple of long cold inhales to cool things down and your good to go.

Depending on where you are day temps, and how long you used will dictate how much you need to cool down.

Great info, much appreciated. Few more questions for you though.

If you were expecting high temps, what orientation would you recommend storing the Trinity? Is it less likely to leak if it's stored right side up, upside down, or on its side, at an angle, etc.

How thick is too thick for the liquid going into the tank? I know that's a difficult thing to answer, lots of variables. Just trying to get a rough idea. If I had a gram of liquid in a little glass jar at 70-75 deg F and placed the jar on its side, does the liquid have to self level within a minute or two? Or can it be so viscous that it would easily take 5-10 minutes to level?

When using a preemptively thick liquid at room temp, would giving a few quick primer pulses prior to the hit be counter productive? Didn't know if it would be necessary to warm/liquify some of the thick liquid into the coil.

Assuming the cool down hits are ideally what primes the coil for the next hit?

Sorry for so many questions, just trying to understand the more nuanced points of it.

    Thanks!

The thicker the liquid the longer time it would take to prime and the time between hits would increase as well compared to free flowing liquids like ejuice.

As long as it flows it will work but adding a drop or two of terpenes would help a lot.

The cool down hits are necessary for a few reasons.

    1. 14 watts in a small space
    2. Required to cool oil down before it over runs the vaporization chamber, as we know oil gets thinner and thinner when heated up
    3. to preserve the taste of the oil so it does not self cook while sitting in a warm jar.
    4. To help the seals stay in place.

as for how to store the trinity tank when not being used i would say on its side as its best that way.

Hi, I tried to order a Trinity tank today but it doesn't ship to my country... do you still ship in Europe please, @THC SCIENTIFIC ?

Do you offer cheaper shipping options since my last buy?

Is there any shop in Europe which is a retailer for the Trinity tank (Verdampnotchmal or @LaCentraleVapeur.com maybe)?

Good to know cause since they are selling only your items I thought it was your european shop.

All in all that's great to get a EU retailer focused on your devices, before it was not easy to find your last iterations in our old continent.

The white PTFE piece that is part of the button assembly, which the button cap screws onto and also has the gold flat screw inside. I believe the threadings are jacked up on it as the gold screw inside will occasionally get knocked crooked after usage

if you happen tohave any spare, id love to purchase a couple of any variety of spare 8 parts you guys still have just to be future safe

I finally need to get a new top/mod box. I was hoping the persei would be ready but I can’t wait. I’m going to pick up this set-up. I use the white rod at 7.4 and want to know if this tesla mod is strong enough to fire the herc sr-74x?
