The screen on my first Mighty had similar problems. S&B sent me a new one. Start an RMA. I am in Sweden and the whole errand took less than a week for a replacement to reach me.

I've been procrastinating sending my mighty in for months. The battery is good for just 3-4 loads now, maybe 5 if two are back to back. Its also missing some fins. But if I wait until November it will be four years old. A goal I guess. And it still does work well. Are there any other working four year old mightys?

Agreed that the Mighty can be a beast, but it sounds like yours really takes a beating :D

What are you doing to them so that they only last 4 months? ... No really, I wanna know so that I don't do the same.

I now have 2. Just got my second one in the mail yesterday. Got a new one for 79 euro from an rma over a case coming apart. My “main” older Mighty came from Namaste just 4-5 weeks ago. The one with the split case I replaced instead of just having the case fixed for free was just under a year old. Apart from the case it was absolutely fine. The case had been that way for months without deteriorating I only waited until I could get a back up to send it for repairs!
I keep my mighty in a RYOT Pack Ratz medium, IMHO a great match as far as protection is concerned.
@Rollingstoned, I am also curious on what type of action your mightys see that wrecks them as bad as you say!

I just got new one from rma, peeled off the screen protector to attach genuine screen protector to protect it and the screen have these small verical lines like manufacturing scratches... wtf... , you said that you have new one for 79 rma, so they refused your rma because of the case coming appart and forced you to pay 79euros? was that still in warranty? mine was wrecked too untill the middle fall off, it was from few blows, but mostly I dont see the quality of cu mouth it just started to open untill the ribs in the middle started cracking
btw is the case of yours big or just enough for the Mighty to fit? do you fit some accessories there too?

The case is a softcase with active carbon and handles the smell amazingly! About as “stealthy” as the mighty itself!

I use my Mighty as a daily. Me and my wife use it 5 times a day, maybe thats whats causing all these problems for me?
I use a Case Logic camera bag that fits perfect for my Mighty and grinder and other accesories
I have never dropped it, i even have a Delta 3d studios stand that i use every day
I take extremely good care of my unit, well beyond most people would
My first mighty stopped producing vapor half way thru the sesh, it would just stay green even at higher temps, now my second one started having LCD display problems, i could barely see the temp readings
So its either heavy daily use or just bad luck hahah

He is using it, for $350 it should work all day every day, no problems.

I absolutely believe that he is not even overusing it, I was using mine daily, but not for a long time and I already saw huge battery decline and decline in vapor production after some months, Its kind of sad when you pay that amount of money, btw why the fuck SB requires how much you paid for the device during rma? What are they determing by that :uhoh:
Hope they didnt started to send already refurbished devices to people instead of new ones. If the ribs and the cu mount would be from ceramic zirconia or something like that + changeable batteries, there would be no problems with it  or Im I mistaken? :hmm:

I meaned it in way of real screen protector, not just a foil, I Improvised too, snaped it from a piece of screen protector, did it for two mightys and it work as charm :)

Are there any members in Europe who would join a group buy of Ryot packratz case which fits the mighty? (I want to save on shipping) It will be 12E per case max and shipping will be included anywhere in EU, it is in sale thats why the price is lower) 5 color variations. Only those few of you who are serious about the buy :peace::wave::2c::D

Yesterday I bought my new Mighty. This unit is awesome. I just want to ask - he makes whistles in medium and stronger drawings. When I close the charger hole, there is no whistling. Is it okay or is there an air leak, and should I complain? Several pages in thread I read about it, just like reddit and elsewhere, but I'm not sure if it's okay. Thank you for your time!

While it may not happen in all Mighty's, S&B calls it 'normal' behavior; other members have posted about this, I think there was a video on this thread a long time ago and the guy was showing the 'cover the charge hole' playing Mighty like a primitive flute. I will say, I'm glad mine (over three years old) has never done it.
    I don't think it's leaking.
