Error 1 means battery is too hot, let the device cool down.

This is a good safety measure to prevent battery damage
or unexpected ' explosions ' . Ya , I saw that Li-on vid
that started a fire when stored improperly .

But as a heavy vaporist ,
I've been known to water vape my Solo on max temp
for several hours straight , watching TV .

How long can one use the Mighty at 385-390 range ?
That's my preferred temp for dry vaping .
Of course , I would try to water vape at max temp of 410 too .

Has anyone asked S&B if we can dis-engage the
1 minute auto shut off ? That seems to be the Deal Breaker
for me . Doesn't it take ' More ' power to re-heat up the temp ?

One more question ,
With all the experience and knowledge S&B has ,
Why haven't they explored an All Glass vapor path vaporizer ?

Talk about a bum trip!!!!:ugh::ugh::ugh:

Its the weekend and my first true day to sample the Mighty but my power adapter seems to be faulty(led turns green but once I plug in the Mighty, it shuts off). The website in the FAQ section said to discharge the battery fully at regular intervals for software syncing. The full charge lasted me for 2 days. I emailed the company with my order number and issue so hopefully they resolve this in a prompt fashion. I realize its the weekend so I am without my precious for a few days:cry:

The Instructions For Use say to first plug the charger into the Mighty, then hook it up to the electrical mains or "outlet." At the end of charging, first unplug the Mighty from the charger, then unplug the charger from the outlet.

Did that as well and no go. When I do that, the light just flickers then turns off. It does stay on without the Mighty plugged in but for about 40 seconds or so then it turns off.

Also, since I have some juice left, I did a session. It does not vibrate once it hits the set temperature. However, it does vibrate when it turns off either due to the one minute auto-shutoff or manually.

I addressed this with the company to see if it is even an issue cause for me it really isn't but since I paid pretty good $$$, I really do want it performing 100% how it should be.

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give an update on the mighty. Traveled to a buddy's house with it in my fleece pocket with the orange filler accessory. Packed the bowl to the recommended level and two of were totally fried. Been using on and off for 2 days and the battery is still a the 4th light. THe taste and the clouds are awesome at 375. This thing is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In regards to the auto-shutoff, the 1 min timer resets "upon application" (ie. when you inhale) ... so it shuts off after 1 minute of non-use ... and heat-up time is very quick ... (and if it shuts off but you are using again soon enough, then it will have retained quite a bit of heat and will take less energy to reheat ... if you've left it unused long enough to let it cool to room temp ... even though it requires energy to get the heat back up ... would have taken quite a bit to keep it there this long as well ...)

Bummer, sounds like it's the unit. Is there a way to disable the vibrating on the application if you're using it? Have you tried a different outlet for charging?

I went over the manual and didn't see a way to disable the vibration.

I tried one other outlet and same results.

I'll just be patient till Monday...

No , I meant .
I Wouldn't be hitting it every minute .
But I want it to be ready , when I do , like the Solo .
The one minute auto shut off is a bit too short for me , that's all . jmo
This is still V1 , maybe they'll change it for V2 . who knows .

That just happened...
It reheats quickly so although inconvenient waiting a few seconds it ultimately makes the battery last longer.

Don't see how that saves any battery. I would think reengaging the heater every 3-5 minutes would eat up the charge a lot faster then maintaining the temp throughout that time.

Thats Just the way it seems to work in real life and with any other vaporizer I've used anyways.

Then why do we have fancy programable house thermostats that dial back the system when you don't need it to CONSERVE energy?

I can hit my mighty for like 3 hits when the auto shutoff kicks in. Then i power it on again and it literally takes seconds to reach temp. This method definitely saves the battery for me. :) the convection takes over as to not have too much conduction??:)

So you're thinking It takes less power to heat the chamber back up to vaping temps after 5 minutes of the chamber cooling down then it does to maintain the temp for that 5 minutes ? Really Now ?

I was thinking that the auto-shutoff could be part of their cooling design to maintain a temperature equilibrium and avoid battery overheating?

assuming all other variables constant, woulndt a higher temp owe to be more "expensive" due to wider temp difference to the environment?

And that is what will keep me from buying an S&B portable.

When someone can come up with a portable where you can apply and remove the heat instantly yet still be able to produce tasty, cool, voluminous hits like Mighty/Crafty, I think there is where I'll put my dollars.

In other words, I want a small pocket-friendly portable LSV..........:brow:.

So you're thinking It takes less power to heat the chamber back up to vaping temps after 5 minutes of the chamber cooling down then it does to maintain the temp for that 5 minutes ? Really Now ?

i think it is more efficient to shut down ... consider a unit of energy called "amp-seconds" ... my vape runs at 35% duty cycle to maintain 395F ... it takes 20 seconds to go from ambient to 395 at 100% duty cycle ... 100% duty cycle is 12 amps, so 35% duty cycle is 4.2 amps ... so getting back to vape temp after 5 minute shut down is 12*20 = 240 amp-secs, while maintaining temp for 5 minutes is 4.2*300 = 1260 amp-secs.

Notice that one minute is the equivalence point (approximately)
