Whats the cleanability factor on the trays in your experience?
What do you mean? How easy are they to clean? Torch red for 5 seconds, let it cool. Pretty easy especially since I use the tray with the screen specifically for clean clean oils.
I prefer the version without screen.
Same thing... even for cruder oils.
torch till red and your good.

I recently got one of the Art Cart boxes (Devolving Forms in walnut) and it is gorgeous. Now I just saw the new Anthropomorphism box and I want it too. This is becoming a very expensive collection.
I like Momentum alot at the moment, ahh hell, I like most of them, I may buy one this week before stock runs out.
So I rarely ever swap batteries, but I charge them together anyways in case I do and I've been noticing the battery that doesn't get used still drains considerably, is this expected/normal? (Yes they're the glyphs).
Thats one killer deal just ordered! Thank you for the heads up!!
Happy to spread the word, here is the thread on the Glass Thread if you have any questions: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/pinnacle-hydrotube.10406/
Planet Vape offers something similar called a F-bomb but its still around $100 USD.
Enjoy your purchase, the only thing I'd recommend is some kind of stand, see the last page of the thread I linked.
My older batteries hold a charge when not in use, and it is demonstrated when I place them on the charger.... no blinking.
My glyph batteries blink, at least for a good few minutes when I put them on the charger even when i have not used them.
I can not intelligently speak about whether this is a trend, because I only own two glyph batteries.
Next order, I will get more, and use strictly the glyphs for a while and watch for this.
So I posted a whole ago about my box smoking and it seems to have got worse I just wanted to give some more detailed info. Hopefully get some feedback from
You lovely people.
So I get my box (after a quick brush down) and a fresh glyph battery. I depress the battery and wait..... After 35 seconds I begin to get serious amounts of smoke/vape. Easily enough to milk a hit ou of it.
Do othe people experience this? What do you think it is? If its just oil build up then could I just hit it (lol). I'm just concerned as I was thinking of getting the pa2 but if my box canst handle the temps for oil then why bother?
I'm a bit worried as last night I was doing some oil and didn't realise I'd let the box get too hot and was taking big hits of this mystery vapour. My throught is killing me this morning.
Ill try post a video after work if you want to see the amount of vapour/smoke it produces.
Thanks from a concerned English vaper
On a slightly related note I had my first accident with the concentrate trays. In a an early morning bout of halloween enthusiasm I placed too much of some full melt on the screened tray and did not let it absorb fully into the pad. Needless to say some of it bubbled on to the box's screen. I am happy to report that it cleaned off easily with some 99% iso and my box still runs perfectly. So although it is always best to ere on the side of caution, I have learned that some oil on the screen does not guarantee a warranty service. Happy Halloween!
There is nothing in the LB that is any more dangerous than whatever you've been vapourizing. Resin builds up underneath the screen and that's what causes the vapour you're seeing. Hit it without fear.
If you use material that hasn't been completely dried, the resin accumulates faster. I've been using my LB for years and the buildup is still minimal, but others have produced a lot of resin in a short time due to material differences. It's difficult but not impossible to clean out that resin without damaging your screen. Lots of people have successfully scraped some of it out but there is no way you can get it all. If you have the PA and you're really determined, you can stand the LB on end with the draw hole down, heat it up, and a lot of the resin will eventually flow out. This can get really messy and might permanently stain the area around the hole. I did this as an experiment and used a screenless concentrate tray to catch the resin. I got quite a few hits out of it. If the build-up under your screen is really heavy then be careful you don't overflow whatever you use.
I was just scared that maybe at those higher temps the rubber ring or a bit of solder (or god knows what) might be giving off fumes. If not then horay! Ill be saving those hits for if I ever run out of weed lol
The LB does not use solder. The O-ring never reaches temperatures that would affect it.
Thanks people you've really put my mind at rest.
I've got a day off today and I've got a hangover so launch box and a crap movie here I come!
I just received a email yesterday they would be sending out the correct replacement. I was really luckily with this one because I used the first replacement a due time without noticeing the mistake
I got my MFLB this morning and first thing I put the batteries in the charger, LEDs went red and batteries kind of warm. I thought it was doing its job. After 7 hours it was still solid red so I got worried and removed the batteries. Now I am reading the manual (finally!) and it says that the batteries come already charged and re-charging may damage them since the charger does not recognize if they are already charged or not. Have I damaged my batteries?? I tested one and it's 1.4V (with no load so not a very useful information but still high voltage, I was expecting 1.2V) and inserted in the box it appears to work, the tray becomes warm (did not try herbs in it though).
@paravians Stick some herbs in that box and try it out, Only way you will know if the batteries are OK. I suspect they are still fine and you should be good to go. Hope that's true.
PEACE and Enjoy your new Magic Flight.
Thanks, I love this forum!! There's been no discharge from the top of the batteries (there's holes for discharge) so I am quite optimistic but I now realize that they were quite warm in the charger (don't know yet how warm they become when charging for real). Heck assuming that I've done something wrong, they should add a flashy note saying "do not charge the batteries straight away because the charger can't tell if they are already charged or not!".
A lot of us "top off" the batteries when we get them. Don't worry they do get pretty warm when on the charger I do think its best to let them cool down before using them but i'm not certain it really matters.
A friend of mine is having a really hard time with a smelly box, his flowers are always dry and he's maybe put 1.5 grams through the box meticulously using ISO after each session. Could he do a "burn off" (empty trench insert battery) to maybe aid in stench?
He can try a burn off, the box really can only smell like what you vape. Mine has seen lots of herb in the last four years or so and just smells like AVB. If I have really dank bud it will help to do a "dry burn" to get it back to a more Popcorn type smell. Once used I don't know that you can have an odor free box.
I don't leave the house that often with my MF so I don't ISO clean very often But one thing to be careful of IMHO is sloshing extra ISO under the screen where it mixes with the herb residue.
That's just my take on it though.
Bummer. Your bud may have done himself in. "meticulously using ISO after each session" is not a recommended practice, IMO for good reason. Washing off the part you can (probably something like 25% since you can't wash the bottom surface or sides of the mesh) doesn't represent a lot.
My guess is what's happened is the odd drops of contaminated ISO dripped into the wood (carrying the smell with it). Normally this would be covered by normal deposits (which don't get a chance to build up in the dozen or so sessions in a gram and a half).
Yes, I'd try a burn off. And also start following the instructions on cleaning?
Yeah for the ISO cleaning he simply dips the cleaning brush in ISO and does a quick brush down of the screen. I'll have him try a burn off and see what occurs.
