Hmmm. Then maybe you might want to put a little more space between the MFLB and that last smiley in your signature. ;)

same w/ me... the box/ pa had me content and i felt i didn't need anything more... but i wanted more haha.. nothing can take the box's place though.. the high is so unique IMO... probably because of the way it vapes... the MFLB is like a manual tool to me, while the desktops r like power tools... they do the job right for you, and you have to use the MFLB right to get the job done right.. just because i have a jack hammer doesn't mean i don't need a sledge hammer haha... because i need both, especially the jack hammer...hahaha but ill always have a sledgehammer or 2 on the side...

I had been wanting to try my LB through a water pipe but never wanted to fork over the cash for the official WPA. So finally this AM it came to me to try this route and it was quite successful. Built with spare parts from vaporizers already owned. The GonG is a 7thFloor WPA with a cut piece of whip tubing from the HerbalAire and finally the LB glass stem. All the connections make a perfect seal. With the addition of my PA, I see how some can choose this as the everyday/where setup.

Same for me for about 10 or so months. I decided I wanted to expand and keep it truly portable, and went with the ThermoVape Ultra with the AVA atomizer for e-juice and the DART when it randomly showed up as an extra lot for concentrates. The Box does my flower needs quite well, and the UltraDART is insanely fun and effective for concentrates, of which I primarily use waxes and stable oils (known also as "shatters.") I find the LB to be perfect for my situation, where I could get a nausea attack at any given moment. In 3 seconds I start getting vapor and in 5 the ball's rolling hard. I can keep it pre-packed, too, and in my pocket as well. The UltraDART is something else, knowing that in 60 seconds I can pull enough vapor to hold me over for a few hours is great. It's just that walk around the corner, that bathroom break, sitting in the very back of the theaters passing it to a friend knowing how much more enjoyable it's about to get... I didn't mind paying the money for that either. I honestly don't need any other vaporizers now, yet I'm drawn to so many more... :spliff:

How brown are everyone's MFLB screens? I am not sure how clean it is supposed to look - If anyone has a pic of theirs to compare that'd be great.

Only use my MFLB now so may take a battering, I have started using iso to clean it but not sure how effective it is? How often does everyone clean it?

Also, how many trenches do you use per battery? I seem to be able to get more out of my weed if I use the batteries for longer (using micro hitting as shown on MFLB website)

    Cheers guys & gals

3 trenches per battery.... 15-20 hits per trench

The above screen is on an MFLB that is exactly 2 years old, that has been used daily.
I clean the actual screen, about once every 90 days.

Thanks fella, I think mine is alright then - just want to keep it at optimum performance, love the thing and I know the screen is it's most vulnerable part.

Have had my LB for about 18months. Have Never cleaned...Have Never experienced any loss of performance either. I used to use the LB regularly but now only use it sparingly as I have a Solo that I prefer for My portable needs...

The screen really shouldn't need cleaning. It will discolour a bit but that is normal. Some even arrive discoloured due to quality control testing before they're shipped. See the Vaporpedia sections on the screen for more info.

Can I ask what model water pipe that is? If it's available online I'd love to get one. Thanks!

Same thing happened to one of my employees and I told him if it was still functionable I wouldn't mess with the warranty. just take a tiny tight rubberband and place around box like MFLB suggests you do if you're going to be carrying a full trench pre-loaded in your pocket...Hopefully this helps your situation some. With no pic not sure the total damage to your unit, but sounds like a very similar Crack to my buddy's. just a thought.

is there any place in Canada I can buy a power adapter for my MFLB? I'm not really interested in any cross border shopping surprises.

Here's a pic of how it broke... its broken all the way up the pin in case its not a clear enough pic...
at the moment its not fully broken off... but when it is, i'm looking for a better solution than a rubber band:) ... i'm pretty sure i can replace the plexi-glass easy enough if i cant figure out something cooler to do.. but i figured id customize it if i could figure something different out that worked for me:hmm:... and keep it that way until this box has a real warranty
    problem...

No, it is only available from Magic-Flight. There won't be any cross-border shopping surprises. Your order, it gets sent USPS, arrives quite quickly. I don't remember specifically what packaging they used, but it was discreetly labeled.

How is it unique? I think getting up to higher temps quickly gives a well rounded high. Prefered for me. Seems like starting at 380 plus gives an all around vs starting with low temp and getting more heady. Or maybe its the surroundings i dont know.

i feel its unique because... i don't know, i just do haha... different tokes for different folks:)... since i have some control, i like to try and get the lower temp cannabinoids first, then the higher ones... rather than degrading them by going for the high temp right away.. different effects w/ different uses... depends on what i want.. but i can pretty much get whatever effects i'm looking for from my LB... i feel it gives a different enough high, like a pipe vs a bong vs a bubbler vs a steam roller etc... it always works out for when i wanna change things up... it still does the job for me

Ya i can see that. Its still the best on the go. So easy to use. Everyone should have a harder hitter along side mflb.

Really? How did you plan to do that?

When BDV first started his cover breaking hobby I looked at mine fairly carefully. It looks to me like the hinge pin is pressed in from below as a square bottomed J piece. It bridges the saw slot and forms a 'staple' across it in a way that can't be done after it's inserted. The straight end then gets the cover I think and the two bends put into it in place as the final step with special tooling which you and I don't have.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that cover is user replaceable due to the pin.

Check it out i reattached my warranty lid easy... took 2 minutes... i didn't try to make it perfect but it would be easy to... unbent the pin(just enough), re-drilled the lid... put it on, re-bent the pin...
I wanted to take my broken lid as an opportunity to make a custom lid but couldn't brainstorm up much... this was always my original plan if not... i had a hash dish that fit right in the top snug and was thinking of giving it a carb and a leash to the lid pin... but i just threw that jar away last week i think... ill probably take the ball bearing off this lid and put it on my other one too if i re-drill the lid... What Would McGuyver Do if he broke his MFLB lid?:)
