I'm also curious about Gentleman's PG/VG blend vs. EJMIX.
These are different items. Gentleman's PG/VG blend is made from PG and VG. EJMix is made from a blend of PG and PEG's of different weights.

Will their blend work as well as EJMIX with wax/crumble BHO?
No.

It seems like EJMIX is much more expensive - its $30 for a much smaller amount than the Gentleman's blend.
Yes, but they are different items.

Any of you guys have rust spots inside the tube? I thought it was supposed to be stainless but it appears to have rust spots inside. Just received it.

Some SS alloys are prone to minimum rust, some are more resistant. Scotch Brite can do the trick removing it, because rust on SS alloys doesn't penetrate as deep as non SS.

Hello guys,

I have a liquidizer and i really really enjoy the E-juices that i make.
For now, i vape only with Kanger products (Mini Protank2, Aerotank) but the problem is always the same, after 2 days of lovely usage it leaks ........ Bottom Coil conception i suppose... Tricks from people here at FC helps, but il leaks anyway.....

So i'am gonna try 'the other way' : Rebuildable Atomizer (RBA/RDA) mods with Genesis style atomizer....

And as i'am a newbie i have a question for people who use SS mesh as wick in their e-cig.

If i a make an extract with 50:50 (oil:EJmix), does anybody can tell me approximately the equivalent viscosity with an ecig juice ?
Is it more like a 30% PG / 70 % VG, 50% PG / 50 % VG or other ?

I ask this because the Genesis style atomizer are not build in the same way, and the SS mesh size is not the same, if your liquid is more PG or more VG.

Thanks to all who can help !

Which atomizers are you using in your kangers?

I have 3 tanks that I filled about a week ago and have used them all at least once a day. They are exposed to temps in the 70s right now.

1 Kanger Protank 3 MINI with the new atomizer that has no wicks sticking out of it
1 Kanger Aero MINI with new atomizer that has no wicks sticking out of it
1 Kanger Protank 2 MINI with the older school atomizer that sticks out

I have not had any leaks yet. I mixed them at a ratio of 1 part EJMIX 2 parts concentrate. I did not winterize and just used some Wax I had purchased.

Hi sethrobin,

i use the standard resistances (single coil with wicks sticking out in the miniPT2, and dual coil in the Aerotank with the latest version of wicks not sticking out).

I take ~50 puffs / day. Day one and two are ok, day three, it leaks.
It's always the same thing for the past 6 months... Just my ratio is 1 part EJMIX / 1 parts concentrate.

Maybe my EJuice is too diluted ?

I've always had leak problems with every Kanger I have used. I'm mostly using the sapphire carts now, even though I do not like that they are plastic I love that it never leaks, no matter how hot it gets or how full the tank is. Now if only they made the sapphire type design with a glass housing...

Hi aj0125,

i'm also looking for the sapphire carts. But after seeing the vids i'am asking if it leaks if you have the cart upside down in your pocket. You put your EJuice in a hole at the top, so if it's upside down i assume it leaks?

Also is it a bottom coil device, like the Kanger ? At one time or other , bottom coils devices leaks when the cotton is too used no ?

Thanks !

@GoGlass, Sapphire carts don't leak upside down, they have a rubber plug to be put in place after refilling.

Edit: Actually, that's how you are supposed to store them in a hot environment, otherwise they will leak.

Cart has a plug on top, mine have been exposed to over 100 degrees and have not leaked rightside up or upside down, the only carts to do so. I do use mine regularly but for only small amounts, it is my ultra light travel vape, I use better devices like the Cera/EVO/Fluxnail at home.

+1 for the sapphire carts from gotvapes. I have been using one for over a year with Pure Gold and another with winterized wax + ejMix (2:1 ratio) for around 6 months and neither has ever leaked in any weather. I too use them for on the go stealth with a Kanger vv battery.

I just got some EJMIX the other day (It's on sale for $20 on ebay) and thanks to this thread was able to flawlessly mix some BHO and EJMIX into a very potent and tasty e-juice. I just loaded a Kanger mini protank 3 with it and it hits very well.

This has basically reinvented vapor pens and vaping on the go for me. Super stoked about the results. We'll see how things progress over the next few days..

You guys have me pretty interested in the Sapphire carts as well. Seems like they are nearly leak-proof which is awesome, but I wonder how the hits compare to the Kanger mpt3? Are they super wispy with really restricted airflow?

I've found mixing co2 extracts or nectar will create a product that is superior to the open or w/e that shit its the same stuff almost.. i think it would b better to get a homogenizer and use 100% VG but i digress. The liquidizer fluid with peg multiples is good at what it does and doesnt provided much taste but allows the concentrate to be applied to my RDA cotton specifically my Mophesto clone ive built a parallel coil and wick it with regular organic cotton. I apply the concentrate to the cotton closest to the coil after wicking my favorite juice. This is better than the method of putting dabs on the coin as my cotton will not go to shit as fast and i don't waste much like before. I think there is always room for improvement and this is no less. Hopefully someday we dont have to be so conservative with our stashes

This looks very interesting, especially since I know nothing about oil and waxy concentrates other than I wanna learn more and most of all sample some!!

Just to verify... People are successfully using EJ MIx created liquid in normal tanks like Kanger Protank Mini and similar? The Liquidizer folks seem to think you need to use your e-juice only with their proprietary EJ Vape that necessitates reloading every few hits.

Affirmative. No need for liquidizer vape.

So this works surprisingly well.

I do have a question though. I am not using the full liquidizer system as my living situation makes it nearly impossible. So for now I am buying dispensary concentrates and liquidizing them with the EJ-Mix. It seems that most of you are decarbing your herb prior to making your wax. Would it be wise for me to decarb my retail purchased wax prior to making the e-juice?

I have read conflicting accounts as to whether or not e-cigs like the Kanger Protank minis with a standard battery get to a high enough temp to vaporize THC (365°F).

That having been said, my non decarbed wax mixed with EJ-Mix is currently working pretty well (one time a little too well:)

But I'd rather not "leave anything on the table" from an active ingredient perspective.

I can't speak for others, but I don't think many (or any) of us are decarboxylating our cannabis before mixing with EJMix. We are, however, dewaxing and winterizing.

Ok thanks!

The Liquidizer folks suggest decarbing before extraction "to reduce smell" hence my assumption that most were decarbing.

I might try it both ways in my next batch. But my e-cig is definitely getting hot enough to convert at least most of the THCA to THC based solely on how it is hitting.

Sorry, I forgot that stealth was important to many! Best of luck, glad you are getting great results so far.

Greetings, just got done making my first batch of EJmix at a 1:1 ratio. Not crazy about the taste. In the future if I wanted to add flavoring to the EJmix what is the recommended ratio? I read thru the thread some people recommend 3-4 drops while others say 50/50. Thanks!

1:1 ratio is a good starting point , i use this ratio all the time.
If it's not enough strong you can try 70% oil / 30 % EJMIX.

The taste is just amazing !!! If not, there is some reasons ... how do you make you oil ? Do you winterize ?
And most important, in what device you vape it ?

I just received my sapphires carts from Gotvapes, yes it's good quality, yes it doesnt' leak .....................but now my EJuice has plastic taste...........................Same Ejuice in a Mini Pro Tank 2 has x10000 better taste :) !!!!!
