Looks cool, hopfully it works just as good as it looks.
i am just hoping this isn't going to become "Vaporware"
The prototype sure looks real.
i agree with you on that based on the picture but they said in the OP:
We have completed our final round of prototyping and are planing to launch a kickstarter campaign this July to raise funds in order to set up manufacturing and cover tooling costs.
shouldn't the kick starter to start raising funds be started already??? i know it's not time for the finished product but........
The truth is that it looks hot! The only think I'm not sure about is the brass :S
Heading into Fall ......... ???
I saw this update on Facebook: http://zenpenvapor.com/blog/2013/08/30/seamless-and-fast-joints/
another update on FB, about the finish: http://zenpenvapor.com/blog/2013/09/03/possible-finishes/
just noticed it in my FB feed and passing it along.
my vote is for the brushed stainless.
My vote would be for brushed as well! They all look really good though!
I would like one of each finish, then my pocket could be full of pens.
I like both #2 and #3, #1 looks too blingy and like a fingerprint magnet.
I'm with grokit! Not fussed on the mirror effect of #1 at all. #2 the brushed steel is my favourite by far
Thought sure, with your Silver Surfer avatar, you'd have gone with the silver.
"To me, my vaporizer!"
I dunno, maybe I am in the minority, but they all lack warmth and character to me. That being said, I would go with #3 if that is our only three choices.
I want to see the se version with rastafarian colors!
But my preference would be anodized black.
Anodized black would be sweet!
The Nickel finish looks very slick. I appreciate that it hides fingerprints/scratches a bit better!
I can't wait to see this thing in action, any updates on the kickstarter campaign?
Black chrome would be cool too
This device sounds cool and ill be glad to be part of crowd funding campain but but.
brass is never food grade as containing heavy metals i.e lead. I wont be part off the gamr with brass. please choose another matériau to count me in
I noticed ZenPen said they have sourced brass with NO LEAD. Can we please clarify what exactly NO LEAD means? As far as I'm aware Naval Brass is called LEAD FREE, yet still contains trace amounts of LEAD. LEAD is not food safe.
In Naval brass the lead in inert unless you smelt the brass , it will not and can not leach below a few thousand degrees . HOW can that not be safe ?
The key is how much, almost everything contains "trace amounts" of everything else. Even the air you breathe has trace amounts of toxins:
