Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
If you would have checked my link, you would have seen they sell freshly dried herbs and not bags.
Just can't account for their source and my other points.
Thanks, I have 2 problems

1. It's not my intention to buy all the herbs from that list and try them one by one. This would get too expensive and time consuming for me.

2. It's impossible to buy all the different herbs from that list so i'm looking for a VENDOR in Europe.
You can try the single source Vendor approach. I was more on the trying to get the best source for A or B. A single source doesn't work for me as well as finding the best fresh dried source. The dry bulk section in the US where I'm, at is cheap even in small amounts. Often the best source in many cases. A test sample is pennies to try out. Perhaps you have the equivalent close to where you are at? :hmm:

I also have a Local Herb store that has certain locally fresh picked teas that are great to vape. One blend has applemint. :p Love it! I would have not found that online. And I do feel very fortunate. So there may be another herbalist that harvests locally? Maybe hidden away in college towns or Alternative medicine shops?

But if you have luck finding a Vendor that covers that or can answer your questions about freshness that might help with the quality end. Great!

I don't think a MIGHTY or a EVO will give much of a difference on vaping herbs anyway, it's probably the quality, type of herb, and the dryness.
I am fussy about quality, type and dryness and source. True. The EVO has worked well for me compared to all the other vapes I own. I get visible vapor, sometimes thick clouds with things in the range of like simple mint teas, lemongrass or unground chamomile caps.:2c: Your Mighty should be enough of a power house I would figure tho. Just might need to adjust things more. Like coarseness of grind perhaps?
Damiana definitely works and i can feel the effects but the feeling is nowhere near our precious MJ. The effect however can be very potent if you didn't vape anything for a long time! Smooth anti depressant effect and it's like it gives you energy/motivation/creativity too. However not sure about the constant usage of it.
Cool, will read up on that in time. tx.

Thanks for your input. I'm simply looking for a online vendor. That is the easiest solution for me to get the "more unique herbs" to vaporize. So i don't want to get in a discussion or anything... Just want someone to help me find some online vendors in Europe. I already shared one here: https://www.pit-pit.com. As you might have noticed the website is dutch. I think there are many more online herb shops in europe, it's just not that easy to find.

I'm not looking for herb of the gods mixes whatsoever. Just want single pure forms to vaporize. I've kinda become a biological freak too. Anyway, if people can update this thread with their new experiences would be cool.

Let me keep it simple and put it like this:

1. The herbs with the most vapor output.
2. The herbs with the most potent/powerful effects.
3. The online resellers of these herb products (Europe/USA/Worldwide).

Share your experience and where you got your herbs. This way other people can elaborate more on this thread. I think for a vaporizing forum ("fuckcombustion") the ethnobotanical thread is way too small. I've been thinking about opening a new thread specially for this. Yet i think we just have to motivate other people to try some more herbs and post some more of their experiences here. Just my :2c: . :peace:

uh oh
After seeing people talk about lotus on this thread I got some (ebay from thailand) just dried flowers.
Opted for the White Lotus - wasn't expecting it to do anything - holy crap it's excellent, and cheap. Really nice mellowing effect. Tastes a bit rank though, I've been mixing it with mint.
Definitely going to try Blue next.

The seller also sent some powdered Sakae Naa as a free bonus gift, haven't tried it yet

Hello everyone , just got my flowermate v5.0s , as a youngster i smoked a fair old bit of weed and found it very difficult to stop, but i did in the end for about 10 years, recently diagnosed with fybro so thought some weed might be better pain relief than meds, was very happy with the results, came across this thread and it's opened a new world.

Last night my new stash of herbs arrived so i made a blend, peppermint, lemonbalm, chamomile and lavender, now im not sure if my grinder contaminated the load but wow no clouds a clean tasty vale, and felt a very relaxed stoned feeling for about 1 hour, did another bowl, went to bed slept like a baby :)

Thanks for the info, will be trying some more blends have passion flower and Damian's to try yet.

I've made that blend for myself actually. Lemongrass and any other mint. I bought some wooden Muller Neil Teeth grinders that I use for those instead of my SC. Since they have different oils, etc.

I'll see if any is available locally to try. Found this thread too.

You can try vaping guarana. A little goes a long way......If you can get your hands on some Mormon tea that will get your motor running as well. SC is a reference to the Space Case grinder.
Welcome to FC! lot's to see and do here.

I have had wild dagga, pink and blue lotus, and damania as well as lavender. I am on a break from marijuana so I have not mixed any with cannabis.

I bought them hoping to make it easier to sleep at night but haven't had a ton of luck there. Perhaps a little effect but not enough to lessen my use of my other supplements and medications.

I have also used peppermint, which I found very refreshing.

@Hughjanus welcome to the forum! I have used several versions of the flowermates and they have always served me very well for the money spent!

Hello everybody!

Any of You has or had any experience with legal cannabis sativa, i mean, the "industrial" THC free, but rich in CBD and rich in all the other components?

I'm very curious about this one:

https://www.kanapinis.eu/product/selected-hemp-buds-rich-cbd

I'd be very happy for any replys of You Fc'ers!
Could this be enjoyable for vaping? An alternative to reggies if u dont only seek to be high but to vape some good thing during study or work if u really have to concentrate, or driving a car, or pass a drug test etc. ?

There could be many reasons.
Any experience with this kind of herb? Any opinions?
:)

I've bought a similar product. It's not as pretty looking as the the pics in your link. It is a the whole plant chopped up with the stems removed. I bought it to be used as a relaxing tea for an anxious friend whom I am slowly introducing to cannabis. I haven't tried to ingest it in any fashion beyond making tea. It has a mild relaxing effect.

I help run a pain support group, and kratom is one of the common topics. The vast majority get pain relief from it, myself included. I tend to just make it into a tea, and get great daytime results. At a recent meeting, vaping kratom was brought up. So, I was wondering if anyone has a good source of kratom in a ready to vape form? I'm thinking e-liquid

I have not read many folks talking about vaporizing kratom, most of what I have read seemed to suggest that the active compound would be destroyed by the heat, which was a bummer as I was hoping to utilize kratom in a vaporizer to try and aid my battle with insomnia as I've moved to Texas to finish my NP degree and have no physician to refill my ambien (I've been over 2 weeks without it, I'm kinda hoping the true day/night cycles here will improve my insomnia versus the irregularity that Alaska experiences). I just purchased some kratom capsules to experiment with, but there's really little guidance on dosage that I can find. I will continue to try and research the matter because I would prefer that modality as I find the act of vaporizing to be relaxing in and of itself, primarily with my vapcaps. There is some degree of ritualism that I find quite relaxing in and of itself.

1.5 years ago when the DEA first attempted to schedule 1 Kratom I purchased (more than) a few Kg from one of the more reputable vendors and so am set. I mix it with food grade ethanol and it sits in a mason jar in my pantry.

I have never made a vapable Kratom extraction.

I know know that many %#$& sources are out their. So due diligence in where you get it.

Got 2 or 3 samples of sage from vaposhop over the last 2 years. I really enjoy vaping it. You definitely feel it in your lungs. It tastes a little minty and produces suprisingly good clouds. I usually use my Fury2 through glass, starting at 200C. 15-20 sec draws... :)

Hi guys, i'm new to vaping and i surely try all of these herbs since i live in the wild nature and my garden is full of peppermint, sage, rosmary, lavanda and more... i use most of these herbs for cooking in my kitchen.

I have a question: does anyone never tied to vape barley?
Of course i'm speaking of the grinded version, not the soluble one that is a brown dust.
I use it for some good barley-coffee and even with milk, it has a so powerful flavor and since i like it i would try to vape it but i'm a little scared if it may contains something of not good to inhale.

In the whole world wide web i found ZERO informations on this. Maybe i'm the only crazy one that is thinking on vaping barley...

Hello humans,
first of all, i am really happy that i found this ethnobotanical thread with all it's information. Since i started vaping in April 2018 i experimented with different plants in my vaporizer, especially in times when i not consume cannabis.

So my first experiences in vaping other plants than cannabis was a mixture of Sage, Mint and cannabis, which worked very well in my vapcap. The Cannabis was still the dominant part in my mixtures with at least 50%. The effects and the taste was always very nice and for me it was great to stretch my stash over a longer period of time.

Since i've got my Arizer EQ (some older Modell, i don't know which exactly) i started also to try lavender. I really enjoyed to vape it pure with a temp setting around 130°C - 140°C. It had really nice calming effects and i love the taste and smell of it. Yesterday i wanted also to try a mix of lavender and cannabis, where the part of lavender was around 70% of the mix. I setted my EQ on 210°C - 220°C the temp range i use to use for vaping cannabis. But at this high temperature the taste of lavender got really ugly in my perception, so i took only a few draws and turned the temp down.

So now my question comes:
Do you ever tried to vape lavender and cannabis as a mixture? If yes, at which temp is it enjoyable for you?
Or is it better to vape it seperatly because of the different boiling temperatures? Or just change the ratio of lavender and cannabis?

Feel free to give recommendations or share your experiences.

Have a nice day (or night)

@galumar sorry, never tried barley myself. But if you do science with it, let me know your results.

Hello @breiter_fighter and thanks for your contribute!

Unfortunately i still not tried barley, but i would like to do it soon.
Regarding your question i can tell you that i vaping cannabis always alone with no other herbs mixed.

The problem is exactly what you have noticed, cannabis needs really high temperatures compared with the major part of the herbs. Just sage i think is good for a mix with cannabis, the rest is pretty impossible.
I really can't imagine how you didi with peppermint that has a so minor temp range!

The biggest problem in mixing herbs with cannabis is that you are going to get some combustion.
I use all my herbs with tobacco, i use my vaporizer for that since i've quit with smoking.

I use daily peppermint, camomile, licorice, eucalyptus, sage and lavanda.
Mixed with tobacco at 20/30%, i really love all of these flavors, are amazing tasty and wonderful for vaping.

The only thing i can suggest you is using a DaVinci IQ that has a separate chamber for the flavors.
In that second chamber temperatures are significantly lower than the first, so you can get some flavor without the risk of burning the herbs.

I'm just starting to use it in this way (always with tobacco) and seems it works pretty good. I just have to understand what is better for the flavor and for the ease of use, mixing herbs with tobacco or keep it separated in two chambers with my IQ.
At the moment i use always the DaVinci Miqro and the Pax, so my experiments with the IQ are just starting, I've bought it just a week ago. I think that i will try barley right with this method at first.

Keep sharing the experiences!

Best

G.
