I purchased my IQ 2/10/17. I don't remember exactly when I got it, but it didn't seem like more than like 4 business days later. I also bought another popular vape that was more expensive. That vape stays in its box mostly. My IQ has performed so well, and I couldn't be happier with it. I keep a steady rotation of batteries, and it keeps on, keepin on. I sympathize with everyone who hasn't had an experience like mine. At some point mine will die for sure. Until then though, I really like how it rips :2c::clap:;).

@ other owners who are still on their first one, just wondering how long you guys have been going? I know there are still a few posters here that have been here since the beginning of this thread. Id like to hear a progress report from you guys. Thank you for all your input, its greatly appreciated!

same here, i have a good rotation of batteries. and i've had my "perfect" IQ since early january.

In case anyone was wondering, the most perfect IQ packing tool I've been able to find has been my VapCap.

These two vaporizers are perfect counterparts to each other and after I found out that I can pack the IQ with my VapCap they've been inseparable.

It's a perfect fit, I just put a pinch of herb in the IQ oven then use the VapCap tip to press down the load, firmly but gently.

It gives a perfect pack every time (Sometimes I even get impatient and use the VapCap while my IQ is heating up) :brow:

i just use my pinky, it works very well

Has anyone checked the IQ with a temp reader to see how accurate it is and how much it drops between hits?

I did this with a thermapen many many pages back. I tried to coax others into trying it with me, but didn't get any takers.

Still on original IQ which I ordered in late Jan and received in early Feb. I have a PAX1 as a backup, but haven't touched it since I got my IQ.

Seriously debated buying a Mighty for about 2 weeks just to have another new model vape to supplement, but the IQ has been so awesome I talked myself out of it and into keeping my 400 bones.

I purchased a copper IQ back at the end of Nov./beginning of Dec. I got it probably 2 weeks later. The only other vape I have is the Arizer Extreme Q at home. I was happy witht he IQ out of the box, but the large oven size resulted in me using it only a couple times a week. Once I got the spacers I found myself using the IQ much more often. I probably now use it more often than the Extreme Q. I now probably have 2 sessions a day way with the IQ instead of 2 a week. I now use the Extreme Q to take hits here and there over the day, while the IQ does the heavy lifting. This is still my first IQ. I keep a rotation of 2 Sanyo NCR's and an LG MJ1 with an external charger, and it's keeping me very happy.

Why not consider a second IQ, it's cheaper than the mighty and you already have all the backup gear for the IQ. I did that and it works great for me.

You should try the DynaVap "M", I just ordered one for $40 with the 420 sale, I have not recevied it yet obviously, but I heard it goes well with the IQ. The 10mm adapter on the IQ works with the DynaVap. Also heard someone used the DynaVap as a "packing tool" for their IQ since it fits perfectly in the oven. At $40, I was like why not?

Ya I got a Focus Pro as my backup. Haven't had that out in over 3 months. It's a great vape, the only thing I hated about it was filling the damn pods, and the thing I loved about the IQ, no pods and a large chamber.

In case anyone was wondering, the most perfect IQ packing tool I've been able to find has been my VapCap.
You know I bought one just to try it out, never really took hold, now I got a use for it. Thanks Jay87

Just got off of a chat session with Davinci sent them an email yesterday, they never answered. I think that girl Ivana does everything. She answered the phone when I called to submit my RMA. So the short of it is they just got my IQ. There telling me 14 days for evaluation. @Davinci_vaporizer. Tell me it ain't so fellow RMAer's.

I almost succumbed and ordered an IQ from VaporNation today. I had some credits that would make the price more attractive and they are having a 20% off SITE WIDE sale. In point of fact, SITE WIDE means "yeah, but forget about that IQ."

Saved from another impulse buy!

Hey guys I realized I just spent about 4,5 hours searching for this guy who posted here, he stated that he bought iq in Europe for about 207gbp from vaposhop with discount code, Im trying to find that post to contact him and ask for the discount code that he found somewhere here. Anybody got that code or similar 420 price range for the iq in the Europe ? thanks very much I would really appreciate your help , as the spacers go, does anybody thought about group buying these (only if they fit in the chamber' or suggesting to chinese glass manufactures to make the exact copies for borosilicate, I think if we all collectively buy these they would not have problem to make 100-500pcs

Do NOT order from BCVapor. Their customer service is horrendous. They oversold the IQ and did not warn me/email me/put out of stock.

I placed an order last Wednesday the 12th and it processed early the 13th. I emailed them Friday since it had not shipped and they claim same day shipping. I emailed a few more times and they finally get back to me on Tuesday. They proceed to tell me the US stock was sold out blah blah so we will send from Canada. I expressed disappointment as I ordered in plenty of time for 420. They came back with saying I would definitely have it before 420 and we sent with express shipping.

Well here it is 420, no package, a non functional tracking number, and they are ignoring emails. Needless to say I will never order there again.

Also what shipping company has a prefix of CX######### and exactly that length. I have tried with every known tracking system on the internet and all say incorrect tracking number.

I like many use tracking to make sure we can have someone around when the expen$ive package arrives on the doorstep. Kinda important to give a working number.

No clue, I am thinking about reporting as fraud as there is 0 evidence they sent my order. I was giving them a chance to tell me what the f$&# is going on but they ignore emails like no other company I have ever dealt with. This is beyond SKETCHY. I think I will strictly do US orders here on. One Canadian order and I get shafted.

I suggest cancelling payment and buying from a trustworthy vendor.

I'm not sure if this is what you were asking for. It was harder than I thought to get accurate angles of the pics to measure the objects, and I didn't have a metric rule. On the second to last photo, my fingernail is where the bowl ends. Which looks like 7/8 inch. Hope this helps.

Do any of you guys know what the deal is with the bluetooth connection?
It seems that the device is always listening despite being off. I'm concerned that the bluetooth module is draining the battery unnecessarily while being in a fake off mode.
I connected the app once just to see what its all about but I haven't used it since. The functionality of the device itself is more than adequate in terms of control so I do not see a need for the app. Besides, as far as I can tell the smart paths reset when you remove the battery anyway.

I disconnected from the davinci via the app but the app still connects to the davinci when opened and switches on when you select a smart path.

I thought I read somewhere on this thread about this issue but I can't find it.

Hi all!
I've bought my DAVINCI IQ from 2 weeks. FANTASTIC
I've noticed that you said in my unit too.

Any one have found a way to turn completely off the IQ without remove battery?
There is a chance for a software update via app to resolve this issuse @Davinci_vaporizer ?

Anyway, i was an addicted user of Arizer Solo from 3 years and i'm really satisfied from his flavor and vapor cloud, but IMHO at this moment the IQ "Fights this battle without losing strokes" (common saying in Italy).
IQ Is a Stealthy, the flavor is comparable to SOLO, but as @dankly said battery life is terrible becouse this fake turn off drain the battery unnecessarily. I can use it only 5 times/10 min before IQ completely die. it's so strange for a portable vaporizer.
I know that i can change the battery when ever i want, but i hope that Davinci keeps updating the software by app if it is possible, Just to really TURN OFF the units.

Cheers

Yeah it would be good too, to be able to disable the bluetooth even if the device is on.

This is such a great vape that its almost too good for "trendy" apps.
