so I think this is like a proof that @Vaping-in-Paradise has a faulty unit, cause I can clearly say compared to pax, the IQ must be much powerfuller and should give a overall better vaping experience.

I've been really enjoying my IQ at lower temperatures. At low temperatures the flavor is really really great, although once you turn the temperature higher flavor degrades very quickly.

I usually start a session at 367F and stay there enjoying the flavor and less harsh clouds. After quite a few draws when I notice the vapor production and flavor slow down then I max out the IQ and finish the load.

I do this because I've noticed that when I start the IQ at a higher temperature like 380F+ the flavor degrades almost instantly.

By keeping the temperature low in the beginning I ensure I get all of the flavor out of my bud before I crank up the heat to roast the herb and blow out plumes of clouds. :science:

I do a similar usage pattern. Low and slow to get max flavor then crank it to get every last vapable out of the bud. Also, I often vape solo and when starting out at a higher temp I simply cant keep up with the vapor output of the IQ.

I sense some IQ spacers in my future......

This is very interesting to me. Low temp vaping on a Mighty is one of my favorite ways to consume. The Mighty can produce decent clouds as low as 340. I'm curious how low the IQ can go and still produce acceptable vapor.

    My typical session:

(Note: if my GF is joining me she only hits it at 340, never above, so we start there on a dual session.)

365 - I start here and do about half of the hits at this temp.

375 - I move to this middle temp when the vapor production starts to drop off.

385-90 - If a load hasn't cashed out yet after five or so draws at the middle temp I push it up a final 10-15 degrees to draw out the last two or three.

This cycle works great with fine ground material in a convection vape, and it looks from your experience as if I'll be able to do basically the same thing with the IQ's conduction system.

Was another one of those guys waiting, tracking # stated that it was supposed to get it today, ran to the mailbox when the truck came, no dice, totally bummed. Had some nice Purple Kush already to go to.

Now this is the life I want, all this lounging and relaxing. Why can't I have it like this, my vape "sessions" are between work at work and work at home:ugh:. The good life, that's the only other thing I need besides more Dynavap everything and that masterpiece @Dan Morrison is working on:tup:.

    @Surf Monkey
I was meaning to check out the vapor profile for u at 340 degrees but I screwed up and did it at 350 instead bc I'm an idiot with good intentions but awful memory. Anyway at 350(lower than my usual low), surprising very effective. Using the smaller spacer and pearl on mid position I got a very flavorful and visible 5 mins out of it. I know I can get at least another session out of this bc this little monster never stops. FYI, I saw plenty of vapor bc I was under my kitchen fan and it has a light, wouldn't want to mislead u

I bit the bullet and basically bought the spacers for $18, which is over priced imo.

But the spacers are game changer. It saves me a lot of weed now. Before if I don't fully pack it, I'll get a lot less vapor, but now it doesn't matter how I pack it (because of the spaces).

The only thing that annoys me is the spacers get stuck a bit after I'm done vaping, and I'll have to use something small, like a paperclip to get it out.

EDIT: Do you guys do HERB -> SPACER -> PEARL BALL or SPACER -> HERB -> PEARL BALL?

For me I'm doing HERB -> SPACER -> PEARL BALL

You do it right, cause the holes of the spacer don't fit exactly the holes of the oven they said..
    I'm still waiting for mine

That was my bad sorry guys!

I'm waiting for mine also, should be getting it today if the tracking is correct. More to the point. I have 2 Focus Pro's that have ceramic honeycomb filters what they call wax/oil filter/screens that they use with their pens.

    http://www.hempstore.co.nz/focusvap...html?HempSID=25c8f6a7881cf39740f1b7bbff31c050

But they are very similar looking to the glass spacers of the IQ. I just don't know if they are the same dimensions. Also to keep the oven clean, would it be to far fetched to actually put some sort of screen at the bottom of the flavor chamber to help keep the resin out of the bottom of the main bowl to help with cleaning?

@cobra505 putting a screen in the flavor chamber will just make the oil have less particles...but it did increase oil around the outside of the hole leading into the flavor chamber (same oil that makes it stick when cold)...it did also make it easier to use herbs in the flavor chamber because they don't clog it as fast

i like the slightly old school porno music he uses in the beginning of the video too...lol

Excellent info! If it works well at that low of a temp then my GF should be able to get some use out of this baby too...

I can't believe stuff like this is still happening. I was debating whether or not to send in all the ceramic stuff from the IQ when I sent in the RMA, in the end I just kept it. The flavor chamber just rattled too much without the mouthpiece. I have a simple question about the DR Dabber Ghost you own, is it ok if I PM u with my question?

Got mine today. I'm on the second load, so here are some impressions:

I got the copper/bronze/champagne... whatever color that is. It's subtle. I like it. Practically every other vape I have is black so this is a nice change.

The unit itself is smaller and heavier than I expected it to be. It's solidity and stealthiness are welcome surprises. It really does feel great in hand. Looks fantastic too. The subtle logo is great.

It does get pretty hot, which at this time of year isn't really a downside. But it isn't "holy cow! What's wrong???" hot, more like "this vape has some serious power" hot. It heats up impressively fast for a single 18650 driving such a large ceramic oven. Very cool.

Hitting it was a little tricky to get used to initially coming off of the Mighty's wide open draw. The IQ is a tight draw for sure. Around half way through the second load I got the feel for draw speed down. It can hit REALLY HARD around 375 and a slowish draw. I had to be a little more careful with it to avoid busting a lung. Once I got the feel for it though I realized that I can get similar sized clouds from it as the Mighty. Warm, flavorful hits. Not burnt or searing hot tasting like you get from some of the others.

There are a few downsides to the setup. I don't have a lot of confidence in the hinges and closures on top and bottom. I feel like they should snap in place or something. Feels like it'll flick open at the wrong moment and break off. Will that actually happen? Probably not, but it kinda feels like it will. The little interior battery door itself is much better and more solid feeling.

Another small gripe is the mouthpiece setup. I love having two options out of the box, but swapping them is fussy and it seems likely that the flat mouthpiece will get lost eventually. I'm also uninterested in infusing anything with the removable "flavor chamber," but I like being able to remove the vapor path for cleaning. Kind of a wash there. The extended mouthpiece is great, but a 14mm connection would have been better than a 10 (to me anyway, since hooking it up to a water tool seems like a no brainer.)

Overall, for a first session impression? I'm impressed! It has a short learning curve, makes tons of vapor, especially for a conduction setup. It was easy to load and unload. Just a great little on-the-go vape! I didn't really mess with the app but this will be my daily for the next couple weeks while my Mighty goes through an RMA, so I'll do a long term use uodate later on.

got it thru a 3rd party, got a great relationship, it's already in the mail with tracking #. Hopefully I get it by Saturday. After reading the post and the nightmares you guys were having with customer service & Davinci there was no way I was buying directly from them.
