THCA - THC Conversion While Vaporizing

Does anyone know the THCA to THC conversion percentage while vaporizing.

In the Nova Decaboxylation thread people are talking about decarbing their bud before vaporizing it, I wonder if that`s necessary or if vaporizers are leaving a lot of THCA unconverted.

I tried vaping oven decarbed bud and had a very disturbing powerful experience, I`m waiting for my nova to come in before trying it again. Nova advertises 100% conversion from THCA to THC.

Does anyone decarb their bud before vaporizing, stories would be appreciated.

I'd say it's from the terpenes being evaporated out with traditional oven decarb... it makes the thc more direct with no cbd antagonist like effects from the terpenes' antogonist properties.. terpenes make the experience more relaxing...

I think you inhale some thca from a "just heated" vaporizer... it's not much thca though depending on the vaporizer really... It's been mentioned that the compounds all clump into a ball in the center of the herb chamber in the vape when you start drawing heated air over it... from that clump the actives (heat sensitive) separately disperse into the inhaled heated air that enters your air ways
