it would seem to me that this might be the ideal way to consume bho when combined with a dedicated rebuildable dripping atomizer such as jdee posted here - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/diy-pen-vape.10608/#post-468695
however, i think a dedicated, experienced modder could really shake up the dry herb world by incorporating the dna40 chip into portable dry herb vaporizer.
i have come across gryphon mods who seem to be taking a different route, although it hasn't even made it to the market yet.
Gryphon Raptor is a DIY box mod design that uses a Naos Raptor 20A regulator, custom-made PCBs and an Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller to give features like variable wattage and resistance metering.
temperature regulation is the future imo.
