Taking vapes into nightclubs

I wouldn't want to risk a pricier vape like my pax 2 which is why I went the trendy ejuice way...now that I'm using an accuvape it just looks like a regular ecig and is perfect for concerts and shit like that. I'm heading down to VA in a few weeks and will toss that in my carryon too.

Thanks for the replies guys, I feel like there's a good argument for every angle.
Because of the risk factor I think I'll probably just eat some abv and vape before I head off to the club.. I can survive a few hours until I get home :)

I'm not sure bouncers would know what a herb vape looks like, as it's still a well underground phenomenon in UK. So as long as you have one that can do ejuice, I'd put the weed in the usual hiding place :tinfoil: and fill it with an ejuice load (jar/container) so if they did get curious when coming across it, it's simply an ecig, even when tested!

There are some serious ecig machines available now, that look just like an FM / Kanger etc.. So passing it off as an ecig mod, isn't that difficult.

You've still got the issue of using it with herb and the smell though, no different than trying to have a crafty joint when you used to be able to smoke in clubs!

I presume being in the UK @Jackson13 wont be using the vape inside, more likely in the smoking area.

I really don't think that anyone will have a clue you are vaping herb when you will be surrounded by countless people smoking cigarettes. The smell on most vapes is very faint and when surrounded by smokers you are disguised completely.

Hell I've used my vape in the cinema a few times, only when it was very empty. At the end I asked a few friends both smokers and non smokers and none of them had a clue!

I took my Pax 1 to a few clubs in NYC awhile back where there was no smoking but you'd randomly see many people light up cigarettes in there and if seen by bouncers were asked to put them out or they were kicked out. It was fun , never got caught , i actually waved it in the air with all the cool lights when some techno came on lol , that was a awhile back and before that in my combusting days i always did take with me. I had a machine wich came with a ton of blank cigarettes hollowed out that injected the herb into the cigarette. So wherever you can smoke a cig i was smoking my special cig and people would wonder where the smell was coming from. Now i have my pax2 and a few other vapes but i have not taken them out with me much except a baseball game or two. Waiting for my grasshopper vape wich will be perfect size for all situations.

The Arizer Air's belt clip is very handy. I'm bringing it to a concert in a few days. I'll be packing two stems and just attaching the clip to my boxers so that the unit hangs right next to my naturally hanging unit. I think this should deter enough men from touching my vape.
Plus, once it's all packed up and ready, it looks exactly like an E-Cig. I'm not concerned :).

I always found whether smoking a spliff or nowdays having a vape in public is just do it casual like. If you feel shifty, you act shifty & suspicious. It certainly helps if you are with a group of smokers but if you act natural no one usually cares. These days I usually just step into the carpark for a quick session with a mate or two.

In a pub of club 99% of people have other things on their mind than if some random is enjoying themselves.

I've taken a vape clubbing and it was great, although be aware the smell when taking a hit will be evident to bystanders. Depending on the crowd, that is either a good or a bad thing.

Problem being that 1% can include the fun police, thought police, actual police and all other good for nothing see fun and have a fit, somebody please think of the children types!
Although they are usually pretty stupid, so like you say if you act casual you can lay low. Just don't get caught smiling too much, laughing or being too joyful. They can sense enjoyment and will pounce, especially around holiday time when alround happiness is getting too much for them.

Of course time & place are paramount things to consider & common sense should always be applied. I am a big believer in running my own race but it would be silly to blaze a spliff in XYZ pub beer garden at 7.00pm Saturday night when families are about but a very different attitude would prevail at 10.00pm. Bouncers by & large love stoners as they don't "create work" for them the way they behave compared to Shaneo who started the shard & booze on Thursday but is still "fuckin amped man" :).

Discreetly having a vape in a smoking area should not attract adverse attention when out & about. My only worries in pubs is when the filth rock up with dogs but even if I got caught it would be a caution at worst & most likely a chat as they are not exactly looking for weed.

I was in a pool bar in Central London a few days ago, it was during the day and only a handful off the 30 or so tables were taken. When I was getting a drink from the bar I asked the manager if e-cigs were allowed, he said kind of, but the big box ones make too much smoke and aren't allowed. I pulled out my Arizer Air and he said it was borderline, I said it doesn't make hardly any smoke, if its too much just stop me. He said okay.

Obviously it wasn't a e-cig, and I got to enjoy the vape whilst playing a few games of pool and no one had a clue. Was good fun :D

I wouldn't think a Crafty would be stealth enough for a nightclub. What about a vape pen that vaporizes concentrates such as BHO and shatter. That doesn't have a smell either.

Most units that vaporize flowers will have a bit of a smell, some more than others.

The Arizer Air is small and stealth but it too will have a bit of a smell. Do they still smoke cigs in the clubs? If they do that, that would mask the smell of a vaporizer. They have Indian Casinos here in the states where I live, they smoke in the casinos still.

There is no smoking in bars and clubs in most places in the states. the laws don't always apply on the reservations.

The casino that I just went to, on the roadway in, there was a no marijuana sign. A picture of a cannabis leaf with an angled line through it. I live in WA state where cannabis is legal. I guess that Indian Tribe will not be selling cannabis anytime soon.;)

EDIT
The Grasshopper isn't available to order and buy yet. You have to preorder and then it could take months maybe longer? I'm keeping my eye in the GH, the company is dealing with some issues. Not uncommon with a new vaporizer. It sometimes takes a while to get the bugs out. They may get there.
that tribe is near by me it was going to be a joke you could only buy a gram and only medicate at their location and had to leave your one gram at the location also.

I make e liquids and use that at bars/clubs... discreet as he'll.

I know it's an old thread, but I would completely do it. I have vaped in clubs a number of times as well as bars. If no one is going to call out the drug dogs because they smell weed, it should be fine.

And to all the people saying wax/oils DONT smell, is not accurate. It just depends on the wax. I have had wax that left no smell and wax that smelled exactly like flowers on exhale.

But I have had vapes confiscated while I wasn't using them (randomly) never while using. I have also vaped ON a plane in the air...not my brightest moment and not condoning it, but it happened.

It's not that wax and oil don't smell. It's that they are much more potent, so less smell is created when ingesting the same dose. I can take a dab and zero it, exhaling almost nothing. If I try the same with a flower vape, it might work, but the vape heating up still makes odors which cannot be contained.

I know the science of it. I said I have consumed oil on a commercial flight.

Some people do believe oil creates NO smell. I am simply working to dispel that myth.

I have took a dab and had someone tell me I smell 'dank' 5 minutes later.

I have also had shatter that smells like strong flowers inside my pocket.

I have also had oil that had zero smell and I have been able to consume it anywhere I wanted without raising any suspicion.

All oil/dab/wax/bho is not created equal. So investing in such as a sure fire way to avoid any detection, is investing under false pretenses.

My point is that oil vaporization is very fast. It's easy to zero hits. Even if you can zero herb vapor, most vaporizers still heat the oven continuously, creating more smell. I'm not saying oil doesn't smell, I'm saying it's easier to hide the smell.
