Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

With the thicker glass, Brick's mouthpiece looks strong but the extra wood block on the Daisy served a purpose. It has saved me more than once when I accidentally knocked it over. Plus I like how it lays flat on it's side when separated. I know many FC'rs take it off @WakeAndVape .
I have never had a woodblock. I purchased my Daisy from @subway13029

So they are identical in my case.

If @WakeAndVape is on board, let there be no doubt in your mind that this thing'll be a big hitter..
As big of a hitter as its mother! I'm also excited to see the innovations this thing is going to get.

Sticky brick labs is on a quest to constantly improve.

Thanks for the recognition, I'll try to put some demos together this weekend!

Just so Dab HAppy!
I am glad to see who all is involved so far. Good choice in a beta team so far with @Slow Draw McGraw and @WakeAndVape . i know you guys will test these devices rightfully so and can easily align my preferences with your experiences. I know everyone or atleast most everyone will be excited to find out which one of our FC friends is StickyBricks. I sort of can't wait for the unveiling as it just makes so much sense.

Edit: make that "great" choice

Yeah it was not easy to sell and i had others who wanted it but i had originally told @WakeAndVape that if i ever sold it that it would be to him and i stuck with my word..i had few other really good peoe who i would have sold it to but i kept remembering what i told wakeandvape..lol..and i figured he would make some videos and really show off her beauty to everyone here..but i kick myself everday for selling it because i miss the flavor and ease. So is the cat out of the bag on who stickybricks is??someone slipped up and let the cat out of the bag on another thread..i caught it but not sure if anyone else did?

I know who he is, but will leave it to him to introduce himself when the time feels right and ready to go!

Hello from Sticky Brick Labs, sorry for the delayed response to this thread. I will do my best to catch up with all the questions and will be checking in often. I wanted to provide some basic info and then I'll try to answer any questions that have popped up and look forward to building a strong community.

- Sticky Brick Labs offers a lifetime warranty on all wood bodies and thirty days on the glass. The glass is Simax, and we will be posting some drop test videos we made of the glass. It's impressive. The glass is very thick and does not break easily. All glass is handpicked at Mountainglass in Asheville. The bodies are cherry and walnut, with plans to add at least one more domestic species n the coming months. All of our lumber is from my property and dried in our kiln or reclaimed from local projects. I have been talking to Snappo and we will be offering exotics later this summer. Our tentative plan is to keep ten exotics rotating as they are sold on our website. As we start off we will buy the blanks with Snappo but in the near future we will also offer custom work so you can pick your own blank and have it mailed to us.
- The finish is food grade and scent less. Each device is hand sanded and finished four times. We will have small bottles available on our website as the body should get some treatment every few months.
- Everything we make is done by hand. We do not have CNC or multi-axis machines, preferring our tried and true fifty year old table saw and block planes. (I do love my new belt sander though). While they are made by hand, we are taking the time to make each body very consistent. We will be making several new devices and our plan is to allow for interoperability between various bricks. There will be added, and temporarily unused magnets on The Brick for future add-ons. Our goal is to make a modular vaporizer system.
- All metal parts are medical grade stainless steel which will not corrode. Thanks to our beta testers we have moved to more permanently affix both pieces.
- I am a long time user and community member and this entire project is community driven. The glass from The Brick is indeed interchangeable with previous versions. We want to hear from you. What you like, what you don't, and what you want to see in the future.

Our initial product is The Brick and it will be available at Puffitup first with direct sales through our website following soon after. We are hoping for a late June release and on track currently. It will ship with a torch, five screens, and the fancy-schmancy lighted tweezers. We want to make it usable right out of the box but sadly shipping full torches is not permitted so you will need butane to fill the torch. All warranty claims will be handled directly through Sticky Brick Labs with our no hassle policy.

The response to the HydroBrick has been incredible and we can't wait to bring it to production. Designs are being finalized and we are approaching beta testing beyond a small group, but it will not be available until mid summer. The HydroBrick will be a standalone unit, though the rear brick with the male 18mm connector will be available at a lower price as an add on to The Brick. It will ship with a whip and two 90 degree 18mm connectors and also works with various hydratubes.

We are currently working on two new models, a direct bubbler version with 18mm on the bottom, and a portable version. Watch our website for availability on those. On a more personal note: I have had a perma grin all week and can't express enough gratitude to the community for the warm welcome. We can only hope to make you all as happy as we are right now. Thank you!

Also, special thanks to @Slow Draw McGraw @WakeAndVape and @nondarb for helping with this project in a variety of ways.
(And go Cavs!)

WOWOWOW!!! I wasn't being touchy in the least, or giving your post any thought whatsoever except to add my :2c: to your :2c: and hint that StickyBricks was just around the corner.

A couple people have asked for a picture of everything kept together including utilizing the hole in the middle. Haze brand tweezers and honest torch.

Can't get over that hole in the middle, dunno why it rubs me the wrong way. Magnet for the tweezers is cool. @StickyBricks what does "moved to more permanently affix both pieces" mean in reference to the ss? As opposed to the interference fit of the Daisy?

Here goes something I slapped together late last night...

Holy fuck.

Colour me interested, that price though :uhoh:

Predicted to go down right ?

Also this has me wondering...

Could you use this inverted ? Would the herb fall out of the... heating stem ? Could be neat, you could grab basically any basic torch lighter and just hold it underneath. Wouldn't have to worry about holding it on a specific angle or worry about having the right lighter.

The price is reasonable considering the product and the warranty. Haven't got a chance to test the WPA...but you could always place a screen over the load to keep material in place...I've done it quite a few times.

From what I hear many add one and innovations down the road, should be exciting!
