@lazylathe when you put load in the GonG there is no charring. Depending how much you put in depends on a stir or not but shit you can get some huge rips

The SSV with Standard HC and Hand Held Wand NEVER suffers from this as you can freely aim the heat everywhere/anywhere you wish DURING a hit with simple Hand Held wand adjustments.

Ive been thinking about doing this.i know its not the same as dabbing but would i be wasting concentrates by doing this?i put some reclaim on some japanese cotton once and got a massive cloud still after holding it in for a good 7-10 seconds and thought then id like to try some dabs but didn't want risk wasting my money.where is a good source a hemp fibre also?

Its an 18.8 size joint so any adapter or mouthpiece will probably fit OK. I just pooped onto the UK site and its loaded with them.

    Yo!

Now that looks more like my type of rip.

How much material did you use?

Im really digging the glass airpath.

What size is the ceramic heater connection?

Can the SSV heater bend at any angle or are those the only two options?

18mm but in any case a simple adapter works and wastes only an inch (14 to 18 and visa versa..... male to female and back around the other way again!)
the SSV heater is at 90ยบ and is seen on my orange unit.
The other (black) SSV has an LSV straight HC with an LSV transfer wand.

And the Spherical ground glass HC and wand is the same or similar, extremely even ABV with a flick of the wrist and a stir here and there, as long as you don't push it with temperature or draw length.

Also, just saying, don't forget that 7th floor do their own version to mate with the GG Spherical HC.
It has two bends that might help cooling and positioning,
and it looks like you could swing the bends around for even ABV without moving your head much.

It's bound to taste real nice with all glass! But water is so good and I'm lucky I don't have much issues with whips yet!:whip:

Hey there! There shouldn't be an issues with the ceramic looking cracked. Easiest way to tell is to turn the heater control knob higher and lower. The element should dim when the power is reduced. If it does? Whammy!!! If it does not? Contact our customer care reps at customercare@7thfloorvapes.com. We can get that unit repaired.

Love the direct transfer wand examples.

Weird story I herd in Customer care:
Guy calls in to ask me what the tubing in the package is for..... I explain what the tubing is used for. He further explains to me that I am crazy, and the unit wasn't designed to work that way. (you think I would know)... I ask how he likes to use it.
He explains to me that he is disabled, and has only one arm. He has wired his unit into his vehicle so he can use while driving. And the best way to use the unit is to hit it straight from the wand. So... The visual I get of this gent driving around with one arm, hitting his unit straight from the wand scares me. We do not recommend doing this. We are always excited to learn different ways to use our products. Please keep the pics and vids coming.

    Ride the Wave!!

As it turned out my wand broke inside the heater cover.when i cleaned the ssv to put it away i found the ends of the wand down beside the heater post so must have broken before it fell out.....Ok so just for anyones future reference.i sourced some wands with 18mm and 14mm joints on the same wand.i bought 10 seeing as they were only cheap and to be honest they are not all the same size BUT none of them were too big and even the smallest wand accepted the 18mm eq baskets without being too tight.the joints are the standard length so not as long as the ddave wand but they dont have be,i always thought bringing the load closer to the heater was pointless anyway if you need to turn the temps back then whats the point.one big plus is that they fit the heater cover better than the ddave wands, his are FAR too tight.so tight that mine broke in the heater cover through sticking. https://www.grasscity.com/uk_en/cle...-5mm-male-18-8mm.html?nosto=frontpage-nosto-3 there is a link for said wands if anyine in england has ever fancied a ddave mod and didnt want to pay the shipping and customs. And here is a link for the baskets https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0...AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=arizer+extreme+q hope this helps anyone wanting to try the mod in the cheapest form i could find.

Did you see that after all of these years, I still list SSV as number 1 on my signature.

I dont think the silver surfer will ever drop off the top ten.i purchased a flowerpot and the only reason its my DD is because is because the only glass parts are the bubblers that we couple yhem up with.the flowerpot forum wont have it but the ssv beats the flowerpot for flavour allllll day long and with a .1 load the flowerpot wont beat it for cloud production either. Lots of love for the ssv here.

A little tip for all you owner's that want to make your SSV to look like brand new.

I found that using Meguiars Ultimate Synthetic Polymer Car wax works incredibly well! It never dries chalky or white like regular car wax. It also removes minor scratches and restores the showroom shine to the entire unit including the base.

Here's a link to what I'm referring to:

    https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G18216-Ultimate-Liquid-Wax/dp/B004HCM9H4?ref=ast_p_ep

Works great on cars too!! :D

I've got the shotgun set at 12 o clock with some Moby dick, watching Jaws! (1975).
Holy shit the flavor and potency are unreal beyond explanation.
I was tired and my water tool needed a clean and maybe my whip and wand, but I pushed past the tiredness and just got it done.
Was even going to wait till tomorrow to crank it up.
Oh it was so worth it, I sometimes very respectfully think of FC'ers like @ataxian who first pointed out to me the huge difference that some regular water tool cleaning would make.
And just now the flavor is actually OMG, I'm going to hit it again.

Yes I call the SSV the shotgun lately, maybe it's the size of the single "barrel" wand or the effect it has, straight to the dome (also combined with the power of things like Moby Dick, ugfhh!)

I have to try and get some pictures up here, thank you 7th Floor for designing such a pure, user friendly power house of a vaporizer!
I will also describe some methods I use to reclaim from and clean the whip part if anybody wants to learn!
