You know.... I have tried three different 'flavors' from Moxie now. And haven't been a huge fan. I know they have a great reputation and as far as potency and purity go are one of the frontrunners. But my immediate reaction to smelling and tasting this Lemon Haze was shoe polish. I had the same experience with their Harambe OG. It's fire, but.....

I was much more impressed with the Lemon Haze that was a house wax. It was smooth, fragrant and actually tasted like citrus a bit.
Thanks, Mom. Best reports are those from the field.

I had some Lemon Haze shatter from CO some time back and it really did taste citrus. Shoe polish, ugh.
Cheers

Is this what you kids call "shatter"?

So excited to be getting this. Fully mature Afghan Kush Ryder (an auto-flowering strain) hung three days then freeze-dried. (Seems to cut down on chlorophyll without sacrificing flavor and potency.) QWET, purged with a faucet aspirator. Enjoying on new SiC nail.

Beginning to research vacuum pumps. Always hated them in lab days. Noisy, messy, smelly. But the faucet aspirator isn't sustainable.

That's really pretty hot looking! Does it dab real clean?

My fave dispensary sends me text alerts daily as to their specials. Kills me every time. Today's alert had me in the car giddy with anticipation.

I thought I would try something new. I've seen these cartridge type oils in the past and was never too interested because they were usually cut with something like PG to help them flow. This company, Platinum Vape, has figured out a way to make them with c02 organic extracted oil. No solvents and completely natural. Picked up some Berry White (indica), Mr. Nice (indica) and Fuzzy Wuzzy (sativa). They ran 3 for $90. Battery extra...

I hate breaking in new bud tenders. They never seems to 'get it.' This time, I got something other than I asked for..... but it was a real nice surprise rather than a bad one this time. Much more stable than most of the house wax I've been buying. Royal Kush... looks like there's particles in it but it's just the paper marks. Fabulous for pain and sleep.

Is all this bubbles normal?
They can be explained by a number of possible variables, some are no problem at all, but residual solvent can leave material full of bubbles too which we'd obviously like to avoid. I would definitely wanna see residual solvent test results on material that looked so bubbly personally - but it is possible that this is well purged and the bubbles could be caused by one of the other possible variables. I tend to avoid suggesting that this is residual solvent from pictures alone - best to have more information before saying something negative about someone's product. :2c:

Everything he has is lap tested and is always at non detectable levels. You really can't tell much about levels of ppm by just looks, SClabs even was finding that with shatters that were very clean with perfect clarity were still likely to having ppm compared to one not as clear.

The air bubbles are from the way it's processed.

Some older tests of his extracts..

For sure man - bubbles do not necessarily = residual solvent and no bubbles does not necessarily mean no solvent, hence my explanation to our European questioner.

Made a mistake here and couldn't edit, all listed above were 100% Propane.
