Vapor Sloth
And he was so right, thanks Roger In an effort to try and stop breaking glass (ha ha never going to happen ) I have installed some, you guessed it, "Rubber Baby Bumpers". Now finding this solution wasn't straight forward. I first looked at lab glass counter solutions and such, but they were quite expensive. Finally I realized that bar tenders work with wet glass all the time and then I found my new love: The Spill-Stop bar service mat You know, that ubiquitous rubber mat that all the drinks get made on? Yep, and for $15 its a steal. Turns out this thing is perfect. Its flexible, holds tons of liquid, and keeps glass in place and super cushioned. Spill stop also makes interlocking mat/shelf liner which I cut to shape and placed in the bottom of my sink. This really helps things drain and dry as well as cushioning glass. There is even an anti-bacterial variety available. The bar mesh, which comes in big rolls and is sold by the foot, is interesting but a little "plasticy" for my taste. Still, I have lined my service tray with it. The last and only ingredient I have not found yet is some kind of sticky rubber that will adhere to the sides of my stainless steel sink. There are some rubber "rug secure" (Ruggies?) things I am looking at. Buying these items on-line can be problematic because of shipping so I recommend your local restaurant/bar supply shop. I was able to obtain all products locally at Internet prices.Roger D said:Would definitely put something to cushion that sink, the video makes me feel tense
