Rosin collector?

Would the Arizer glass tool work to collect rosin off of parchment paper, after a press??
I see metal collection tools but videos make it look like they don't need to actually scrape with
the metal tool, they just roll over the rosin etc.

And would it work to dab the rosin with it?

Yep, that will work fine. My regular tool is a glass swizzle stick but I have used a dabber exactly like that many times and it works fine.
