Quick question for people living in recreational or medical states

For people living in recreational or medical states, in your state are there hydroponic shops that also sell vaporizers?

Yes, if it is made there is someplace selling it other than a few Online only products. If you express an interest in something I have had retailers offer to order for me.

Usually stocked near their hydroponic section.

Not to derail, but I too, have a question as my state does not believe in modern medicine, as I always put it.

How do PC/family doctors in your states view usage? IIRC, when I was a teenager in CO before this was all legal (Just medicinal) even psychiatrists -the most anal of doctors- didn't give a damn and thought it was fine.

EDIT: Even in non-med states, I see hydroponic nursery selling gear, and yes, the magic butter machine is in every smoke/vape shop within a 10 mile radius.

Depends on the Demographic and what the owner or Manager decides.

The smaller shops listen to their clients, one Shop carries Vacuum Ovens for BHO , Bubble Machines, Bags ...
I have never seen Vaporizers in grow shops though (In the Shops best interest)

Because..
The "smart move"( in terms of profiteering), is to sell bongs, pipes and papers.

This will keep the Gardener coming back for more supplies.

The same shit in dispensaries, only a small handful will sell Vaporizers, as big bongs and pipes burn through product much quicker, making the patient come in once a week as opposed to once a month.

Profiteering is the only thing I really despise regarding legalization.

Michigan does have hydro shops that sell 'head shop' type merchandise. In fact, the clinic that I go to to get certified is also in the back of a grow shop, lol. Real doctors and they are serious about having qualifying paperwork to certify you. So it's not a janke operation.

I actually asked the physician who certified me last month about this. My specific question was whether or not he saw any acceptance of cannabis as a medicine with his peers. I mentioned that I do not tell my doctors, especially my pain management doctor, that I am certified for fear of them treating me differently and not prescribing the meds I sometimes still need. He said I was wise to keep it to myself. That he had not seen an increase of acceptance of any sort. He also mentioned that until mj is federally legal, we wont be seeing it. He claimed that the doctors are in fear of losing their ability to bill Medicare if they prescribe or condone usage of cannabis.

What states do you see selling pipes, etc in hydro shops?

No pipes in the hydro shops in my area, at least, not from what I've seen. Most are either ONLY hydro shops or a mixture between legitimate nursery and hydro shop. Oh- I'd just prefer we leave it at "The RC" state. That should narrow it down.

Magic butter machines are now totally common place, I can't stress that enough. Had a friend meet one of the makers and I can confirm that their machine is phenomenal at infusing oils. Also, the candy is delicious.

Yeah, unfortunately pain management is even more strict than seeing an psychiatrist- I'm kinda in your boat too, we both legitimately need medication and can't be open about our personal lives. Sure we could, but then we'd lose medication that we need on occasion.

Its a shame, I feel like it kills the DR+Patient relationship and takes all humanity out of seeing a pain management specialist or someone to help with some anxiety.

I hope in 10 years we all look back at this time and say "Wow, those were some dark fucking days".

California no need to sell a vape in a hydro store. Some may do it, but why? There's glass shops everywhere.

In Maine you can get vapes at any MMJ Dr facility, or head shops. Not sure about hydro shops...have never been to one or even seen any here. (I swear the MMJ docs here live to sell vapes. You can't check out at my doc without Firefly displays staring you down.)

i'm in arizona. my local 7-11 has a whole case full of pipes, vapes, papers etc. right next to the ice cream bars.

Banking makes any form of connection to cannabis a tricky problem even in legal Colorado. The hydro store that I go to only sells horticulture equipment, but have magazines regarding a variety of gardening as well as cannabis. That's about the extent of it. It is also a chain. I presume they just go like some of the smoke shops selling bongs, keep it low key and your money is clean.
