Questions about times for cooking

I see lots of different recipes for cannabutter and coconut oil, and various foods and candies. Most of them tell me to do stuff that is scientifically questionable at best. Like cooking my weed for hours at anywhere from just a simmer to a boil, or put it in alcohol for three weeks.

Question 1. How can my magical butter machine make it in two hours for butter or 1 hour for coconut oil but manual methods often require hours past that to cook?

Question 2. Vaporization starts somewhere around 200 degrees. Why do all of the decarb recipes say to set temp between 225 and 260? Also, why does cooking at yemos higher than 200 degrees not destroy the thc in the food products I make?

Question 3. Why do some alcohol tincture recipes say I need to soak it for weeks and some say three minutes and my butter machine (this thing seems sausome. I've used it to make butter once and coconut oil twice. Not sure how stroms they were since I don't get off on eating edibles.)will make it in 4 hours?
