It is a more pleasant feeling compared to smoking for sure. Vaping feels a lot more pure and clean. If cannabis makes you feel anxious though you may need to look for a milder strain.

I assume you haven't actually tried vapourizing yet.

Aside from the influence of strain choice, vapourizing offers the possibility of varying your experience through temperature selection. Anxiety increases with THC content for many users. You can use this chart as a starting point for experiments. Keep in mind the caution at the beginning of the article. The chart and how to make the best use of it is discussed in the thread Vaporization temperature dependent selection of effects.

My girlfriend has pretty severe panic attacks and for her it is the exact opposite. She preferred smoking over vapor (she quit entirely now because she has a panic attack every time she used mj at all). She used to be a heavy toker and smoked a lot of dirt weed which is typically higher in cbd and cbn and lower in thc than most high end stains. Eventually she moved on to heady high thc strains but was drinking a lot (alcohol is a great anti anxiety "medication" until the second it all leaves your body, at which point you probably will have a panic attack if prone to them). When she quit drinking, she pretty much had to quit mj because of her panic attacks.

She has said on a number of occasions that she wishes we lived in a MMJ state where she would have access to dispensaries which should carry at least one high cbd, low thc strain (which could actually prevent/stop a panic attack instead of causing one).

It's really about time that the government allows real empirical unbiased research of Marijuana and all of the likely health benefits
