Q tips cotton ok?

Hi, anyone know if Q tips cotton is safe to vape?
If you clean a mouthpiece or whip with one and then wish to pinch of the cotton tip and vape it?

The package says " 100% cotton ". I take that to mean no nasty additives that would come out when vaped but anyone know for sure?

I asked this of @Vitolo once and he explained to me that it was fine. No glues there. The cotton is simply spun onto the stick.

This is what i use all the time!
Some complain of that "clean laundry" taste but i don't get any taste at all!

I use the q-tip cotton for cleaning, wrapping shatter, wax or oil and as a filter to catch resin before the WT sometimes!
Many uses!!
And cheap!

I do know that a lot of people prefer hemp fibre.

I've been using organic cotton for wax and - at least with my E-nano - there's no scorching.

Cotton doesn't scorch at 425 F as that's the temp I use to iron my cotton undershorts JK

I will look into hemp fiber too

Hey - used underwear won't scorch! Now that we all know that we don't have to bow down to Big Cotton

I've seen reports that cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed crops, pesticide-wise. So while a Q-Tip may look pure & clean, there could be some unwanted substances lurking. If you plan to vape the cotton, it may be safer to buy organic cotton.
