Check it out, this vine I recorded is after taking a hit but without clearing the glass. It looks to the eye like there's nothing in the glass. When you shine then laser pointer you can see a beam where it hits vapor particles in the air. I should have cleared the chamber at the end but I didn't have enough hands!
