pastured eggs at a local farmer's market tomorrow. Pastured eggs cost a bit more than your typical commercial variety ($3-3.50), but I believe the price is worth it for the increased quality that pastured eggs tend to yield.

You should try some raw milk if you can find a clean source. Goat milk is awesome . . . :tup:

I don't think I've had raw goat milk, but I have had raw milk! And dayum - it is so tasty. I would love to use raw milk in making omelets. mmmmmmmm

We have chickens that give us eggs. We have chickens that we raise to eat, too. Every so often we'll get 20-30 chicks and grow them out, slaughter them over a few days when they're ready and give them away/deep freeze them. Taste of it is fantastic, I can hardly eat chicken anywhere but home anymore.
