Pre Press Question

Nets sold with my 2" by 4" pre press are 1/2" longer than the mold and are a pain to use.
The nets for my 3" by 5" pre press are 1" longer than the mold and are easy to deal with.
Why are nets not consistent in length with regard to pre press length ??

I've been using Arizona press's rosin bags. They have a wide variety of sizes. I use 2x4.5 bags in a 2x4 pre press mold. I tried 2x4 bags, but 2x4.5 fill the pre press easier

I have been looking for 3" by 7" bags in 37 mic for 3" by 6" pre press.
I want to press 40 grams of B.H. - Dabpress is making me some.
