Ok so the first session was kinda underwhelming, cool but wispy vapour even with long slow hits, and not strong like i was expecting...like not even close.
The only good things are how cool the vapour is and how evenly roasted the abv is.
i packed around to .3 or .4 with the liquid pad of my shitty weed. (Ultra-low quality weed but reasonably strong when smoked)

Also i REALLY don't like how the temps work on this device, to much flactuation between draws even if i push the orange thing all the time like an obsessed man to keep the heater engaged.
It's freaking annoying tbh.

Today i'm gonna try a .2 gram bowl of good weed and a full 1 gr load of shitty weed to see if i can get better results.

If the results are not great i'm probably gonna return the device to amazon and buy a volcano.

Hey guys im about to pull the trigger on the Plenty this friday!!

How long is the lifespan of a Plenty vape (device) typically for the everyday toker? I was considering the Volcano Hybrid for some time, but the thought of a conduction/convection heater seems too harsh for daily bags ( i prefer the 'softness' of the og Volcano )

Well, I have owned my Plenty for over a year and with extensive daily use for over a year, it still kicks my butt. As a matter of fact, we're getting ready to indulge right now. My stomach is upset as heck this morning, I need my morning meds LOL.

Just hope you are acquainted with the way the Plenty functions, it's quite different from :bang:
any other?
But Quality, #1

Hey there yes ive owned an SSV and love the whip style vapes but sold it to a good buddy of mine some time ago.

Im getting lazy to get up and blow up a Volcano bag every time it runs out, just want something to pack an forget about it.

Ive been using my Mighty for this reason but the draw resistance is what gets me, I need the Plenty experiance in my life.

You can push the orange thing as much as you want but Plenty works by cycles. You get a few minutes of your selected temp. Plenty does a little that clicky noise when reaches it and the orange light on the front of the vape turns off.
You have to wait the cycle to end and only then pressing the lever has the effect of starting the heating process. Iirc each cycles lasts something like 1'45"?
If your weed is consistently sub par start by 7. With low resin weed I'd go with a full packed bowl not a 0,3.

Hello everyone new plenty owner here, YAY! I love the way this device looks, it looks like an air pump for a tire! Lol.

I know the plenty has a big chamber but I wanted to ask what is the smallest amount of herb you can use using the liquid spacer?

You can use the smallest amount you like! :2c:
Just spread it out well over the entire screen.
But if You're in the habit of micro dosing, get the 'reducer' and small liquid pads. :smug:

I find the best results are to have a full bowl, as it was originally designed to be used, 1 gram is a good starting point.
But as mentioned, you can get away with a smaller amount with the liquid pad on to stop the load shifting and leaving spots for the hot air to pass without vaporizing your material.:myday:
Don't forget when the S\S whip gets stinky, swap to this;

I don't feel like the SS whip gets stinky. That could be cause I only use medical grade but since I got the J hook I'm hooked at looking inside of it, the vapor flowing. I can't tell if it improves the performance but it's a joy to look at. It completely changes the experience, in good and in bad (being vigilant after vaping 1,2g and careful not to drop the mp in the ground).

Questions for You Plenty fans

Why is the Plenty specifically designed to reach the selected temperature and then shut :hmm:
down, preventing the re-activating of the heater, until the temperature drops
50F degrees or so, before allowing heating again? :worms:

Why did You intentionally choose this type of Vape, with this peculiar type of operation?
Or, were you honestly not aware that the Plenty was designed to function this way?

I have one but haven't used it yet, trust me I am no expert but I think its designed like that as a safety feature incase you forget to shut it off, you have to keep hitting trigger to keep it on. but I also think its built this way so it doesn't cook your herbs while your not using. I hear some say it is full convection and some say it convection with a little conduction. I believe its the later and why the plenty is capable of such big clouds.

The on/off cycle does not matter when it comes to vapor production, take 3 long soft pulls any time with a full bowl and the last pull will have vapor. Only after many, many hits do you need to ride the red light to get vapor. The load is probably spent but I like the roasty flavor towards the end so it is worth the work to me, usually an hour or more from when I first pack a bowl to where I can't get any vapor.

I chose this vape because I was and still am in love with any vape made by S&B. I started with a Crafty and got Mighty, Plenty and then Volcano in a matter of months. I was a bit disappointed at first by this cycle thing, but I started to appreciate the vape more and more after a while. I have to admit than after getting a Volcano I didn’t touch any other desktop for a long time, but then I started to use my Plenty when watching a movie, during night time, when filling a bowl could get noisy. Now I rarely use my Volcano and choose Plenty most of the time when home. When I fill it with plenty of high grade cannabis, the temperature drop is at times well appreciated so I don’t fall short on oxygen. If I feel like preserving my bowl I detach it from the main body. It has a long cable and it’s durable. Some say the SS whip gets stinky but I think it works quite well and deserves appreciation as well as the vape. Plenty looks like an electric tool and it’s stealthy. It still didn’t get bt and touch screen updated, doesn’t cost 700$ so that’s a plus.

Thats one of the things I love about my plenty it looks so different from everything on the market. The plenty has that retro look, like the gauges on a classic muscle car. Yeah I love these new high tech cars, and gadgets with the bright colorful screens but there is something about a nice old school supersport nova, or a nice trams am that makes you smile. I feel the same way about the plenty, when I look at it I smile. Plus the plenty looks like it can beat a nova on the quarter mile! what do you think?

I got my Plenty because I wanted a desktop that would deliver huge hits and also cool the vapor before it hit my throat. I only use full bowls and am completely satisfied that The Plenty was the correct choice for me. The fact that it is well built by S&S is a definite plus.
