hopefully they will clear a few things up in the a.m. Either way i'm out the dough w/the glass on the way. hopefully it holds up. the black leaf tube bong with 6 arm that i got for a bill on 4.20 by black leaf def. has it's flaws, but works fine, 'specially for a bill. will see. if it performs half as well i feel i will still be even as i paid half as much as if it was a real toro.

Yes, the Black Leaf micro circ is made by Toro in the USA. Black Leaf is just a brand name under which they commission glass pieces to be made. Some are made in the east, some in eastern European countries and in the micro circ's case, in the USA.

When you see and hold it in person, it is very obvious that it is quality made in the USA. For being only about 9" tall it weighs almost 1kg, which is about 2 lbs! and has a nice wide sturdy base.

Even the combustion bowl it comes with has a beautifully made all glass screen in it.

No worries, when you receive it you will see it is definitely Toro quality and hits huge for its tiny size. If you are in any way not satisfied with it, please contact us by replying to your emailed invoice.

The only thing we feel is "cheap" on it are the labels, would have been nicer to have sandblasted or glass transfer labels instead, but that is just personal preference and in no way affects performance.

    Peace and Love,
    P.V.

I'm buying one! Thanks for clearing that up!

Hopefully there will be some left by the time the Solo stems are released, so I can order them together.

"I" better be in that 1st release line-up 'limited availability' since I've been hangin on for this since 1st mention :goon::D

PV, any future plans of becoming Canaduhh's leading glass distributor ? Sure would like to see some macro sized (4.5 to 8") oil rigs in different configurations from you since you've been a pleasure to deal with and always participating in FC ;)

PV, have you actually been told its a toro by either black leaf or toro?
Or are you coming to that conclusion based on the quality of the glasswork?

I'm happy that it's a quality piece (I'll admit, I didn't buy it last night , but when GonG PVHES are available, I'll be getting a nice little care package haha), thats the most important part, it just doesn't gel with what I've heard about the guy who created Toro (JP?).
He seems to be a bit overly pre-occupied with keeping Toro at a certain price point, and letting some go out the door for much cheaper with a brand on them that's mostly known for being china glass just sounds strange, ya know?

PV, just curious, will you be offering bent PVHES, or just straight ones? I know a lot of users prefer the straight stems, but I enjoy using the bent ones more.

So what is the current expected release date for the new solo stems? I'm really excited to buy one of the new power adapters and some cool new stems.

I've read different things in different places, so how about a projection?

    Thanks!

got my micro circ from planetvape.ca today at the $170 mark w/free shipping.
will get video up later, but it hits gorgeously. this pic has a different diffuser than mine.
mine is disk style, but a little chubby. took that first hit and ya know how you get that tickle in the back of the throat that tells you to stop? no tickle, exhaled a cloud to fill the room. light cough which should have been a coughing fit for how much i blew out. fuck yea! will try to get some vid up on monday w/ some good pics as well. gonna go for a walk and enjoy the sun! the pic on pv really doesn't show the diffuser well at all, but this sucker kicks mad bubbles. feel like it was well worth the dough. this is gonna quickly become my main oil rig.

    Hi Frederick,
Yes we were told by Black Leaf that they are made by Toro Glass in the US. We have also sent a message to Jp Toro himself and will ask his permission to post his reply. When we got our hands on the first one it was very obvious that it was very high quality made and so we had no reason to doubt what Black Leaf told us. Your point is a good one and we hope to get an answer from Jp himself.

It depends on the winning design, more than 3 micro channel side cuts can't be cut accurately on the glass saw using the bent stems. We are trying some modifications to the cutting saw to maybe enable 4 micro channels. We will really try every way to make it happen because our initial goal was to have them available in both straight and bent.

We will say easily before the end of May, we were hoping to have them initially available for 4/20, but missed that so older posts might have different dates. Sorry about all the date changes.

Thanks for the great review. We will work on getting better pictures of it for sure. Glad you like it Bob Loblaw and we definitely agree that it kicks mad bubbles, especially for it's micro size.

    Peace and Love,
    P.V.

would love to see the newer disk perc in the smoke shower.just what im looking for.

    Great news PV.Thank you:)
  14. Frederick McGuire Aggressively Loungey

    Cool, thanks forthe confirmation pv.
I love your having all those adapters in one place, and all those Angles. Very nice.
Maybe you could look into getting a 23mm male to 18mm female connection?
23mm is less common by far, but I've seen a few pieces coming out with them recently...

You're gonna have to stop releasing stuff pv, every time I come here, you're bringing out something else that makes me want to wait.
    :D

Looking forward to the pvhes (especially the gong version :brow:)

    Edit:
I don't want to sound like a glass snob here, but did I miss a meeting last night where "disc perc" changed meaning?
    It's a showerhead aka circ.
    Not a disc.
    Disc diffusion is different.
(not trying to call you out, u bwade, youre jut the 2nd person today I've seen call it a disc perc...

Just added the 23mm male to 18mm female adapter to our official list, we also have the Solo GonGs available in that larger joint size already. Thanks for the request. Already testing the PVHES pimped out GonG adapters.

Solo 18mm no carb GonG adapters are back in stock. We apologize for them being out of stock, our glass blower ran out of the 18mm joints we use, which are high quality and not readily available, requiring longer re-order times.

All is good now and PVHES are still on track for release before the end of May.

    Hi PV,

Loving all the effort for the solo so far, cant wait to get some stems, do you have a pre-order for these at all and also would you have a minimum order to ship to the uk?

Hey PV, great that they are in stock, however would I be correct in assuming that these same gong 18mm no carb adapters will also become PVHES gong or with the air flow channels, also out by end of May?

Thanks for the vid Bob! Nice! So has it been confirmed that this is actually a Toro piece disguised as BL? If so I think i'd pick one up, but not if it's "china glass" like i've read somewhere else.

I picked one of these up. With the FC discount, how could I pass it up. Hopefully it pairs well with the Solo.
