Very nice looking!
Would like to see the upper end of the dab tool, please. What is it, just a bent nail? ;)
Does the twisted body make haptic sense?

@Hogni they are this type.
I'll happily fit different tools and do other shapes, got a square coming next.

Oh, I love squares! Be there or be square!!!

Again...Stunning work PP. Your pieces always invoke a coveted desire to have and to hold, gaze upon and behold. I am amazed by every piece you post, but the 8 fluted twist really is something special. Stunningly Beautiful!!!

Had to follow the credit card stem up with a vong.
Both available

Had a couple of ideas when I was making these and ordered a couple of other colours.

Along with a few 'sticky' things I had some blanks arrive in the post today and had to rough this one out.

@Squiby swanky looking.:lol:

Had an enquiry into the possibility of a lined stem for another vape, wash my mouth out.
The great guys @Boundless Vape Technology went the extra mile and helped make this a lot easier job than it was looking.

Had to organise some tube and a tap and die.

Beautiful piece.

Just curious. I've searched for a description of the finned section between the tip and the wood body but didn't find the page. I imagine this section provides extra cooling and keeps the wood farther away from an IH or torch or more for styling? Is this an option on any design?

@BabyFacedFinster every stem I make has a Ti hot end.
The finned one will have a minimal difference to the cooling as they are only 21mm, the overall length does make a difference.
My standard length is 100mm, 130 including the tip and cap, but I can make them any size.
They do get hot but then so does any metal stem. I had them finned so there is less surface area to come into contact with if you touch it.
There is either the finned piece or an insert.

This piece has an insert.
An idea I had a while ago, Abalone and acrylic a homage to the antique cigarette holder.
You can see the joint at the MP end didn't close up which pissed me off for about a second. Materials for the fix on the way and it'll be a subtle repair.

You are welcome @Tupak420, get in touch anytime.

I used powdered aluminium to sort the joint on the abalone stem.
It's taken on a more antique look now, in keeping with the theme I suppose.

I'd normally be setting up my bigger saw outside to cut blanks up, not nice at this time of year.
Picked up a small compound mitre saw today which sits nicely on the bench next to my lathe and has a play.

@F-UCTD honestly I've no idea, F-UCTD if I know:lol:
There are a few ideas floating around my grey matter so I'll video the next ones which will give me an idea on price. I have a quick Dynadab and make shit, time flies.

Maybe not quite at that level yet @Tupak420.
I've spent a lot of time looking into ideas and had to shelve them due to the materials costs. Shelved a couple due to the complexity of the build, but never say never I'm makiing new contacts all the time.

More Blackwood and accent stems coming together, all spoken for.
There will be some available in the UK and I'll let you know where and when.

Had a couple of deliveries this week, some nice blanks turned up.

This one intrigues me the most, it's as light as a feather.

How old.....

Something a bit more up to date
Hybrid stabilised piece, the resin is solid and my HSS steel chisels were dulling way too quick.
Carbide tips to the rescue.

Thank you @Moses Baca get in touch anytime.

The hybrid Red Mallee Burl got a tickling today. So much easier to turn round stems, final sand and polish while they spin is really quick compared to flat surfaces.
Burrwood lends itself so well to this style and the extra effort is always worth it.

I should've bought tipped tools ages ago they've turned a pain in the HSS ass job into bearable tasks.
Red faux stone 14mm with black and silver accents. Let me know if you can't see it, copyfukinright control.
