Palm 2.0

The size of this vaporizer is what originally piqued my interest. The concealment factor is very important to me and After doing my research I found almost nothing but positive feedback for the palm 2.0. Along with the size, the taste, the function, and the ease of clean up are what really helped me with my decision. It's funny this past weekend I was walking around downtown Las Vegas using my palm 2.0 and never got a second look from people around me or security. Then again with all the freaks :freak: out on Freemont street me and my little Palm 2.0 are probably the last thing security is worried about.:D

You'd make a great spokesperson for the company.

Seriously, though, it sounds like a nice little vaporizer with some upside.

Oh almost forgot, I been watching the battery charger like a hawk because I heard they can overcharge and get damaged, is that true? Or can I leave them in overnight and not worry like with a smartphone?

Whenever I charge my batteries I do notice that they get pretty hot and at first I was a little concerned but I got over that quickly. I've been leaving my batteries to charge overnight without any problems ever since I got it. I think the charger overheating and melting may have been an isolated incident, but I could be wrong.

If you are referring to the charger that comes with your Palm 2.0, it will not overcharge your batteries and does not overheat unless it is defective. I've never seen a report of a defective P2 charger but of course it could happen. You can certainly leave the batteries in overnight, but don't leave them in it for more than a day or so.

I think HillaryClinton may have been referring to a post from April 6th where
SKY said "I got a Palm 2.0 about a week and a half ago. I somehow ended up buringing up the housing on the battery charger, and my batteries got so hot it was insane!"
But like I said I have never had any issues with my charger and I leave it charging over night all the time.

Hm. I either missed or forgot that report. Either way, that is unusual and the result of a defect and not simply leaving the batteries in too long.

Just has my first session on my new palm 2.0.

First impressions:

- small and easy to carry round in a pocket, ready to go
- easy to use
- great taste
- efficient
- easy to clean
- works well / got me medicated

The only drawbacks that I could come up with were:

- battery takes some force to push down
- had to recrumble the load after a few hits to get a perfectly uniform abv

So far, I really like it! Thanks again TRVB!

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
Check it dudes.

Haha. Also, to avoid the inevitable anger that comes whenever I have a sale, I am announcing a major Black Friday(day after thanksgiving) sale 7 weeks in advance. Details will come closer to the date, but I can tell you it will be on every product we sell.

I posted it here because this is my most active thread, maybe some of you could spread the word in other threads for me?

Hello I just got my palm2. I've never had or used a vaporizer before and just need to know if I'm doing it right! I was so excited to get this and it doesn't seem to be working :(
It is also really hard to open. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Also I don't see or feel any vapor. It's so strange!! Am I supposed to see vapor building in the plastic clear part? Advice would he appreciated!! Thanks!

Make sure the battery is charged and also draw slowly. I did see vapor develop in mine when I was using it. I found that I combusted easier in the Palm 2 than I would in a MFLB so I guess the Palm 2 runs hotter.

I suggest charging the battery, use dry material and also hold the battery in for around 5 seconds to see if any vapor starts to show. Then just take micro draws.

I agree with @TherealVaporblunt . This thread/vape really does deserve more action. 10 pages??

I've had the chance to use my P2 a bit more often now. It really is a great one/two hit-and-go vape for out and about. It's also perfect for the movies. I've found the flavor to be better than my friend's MFLB (side by side, same herb), but then again his MFLB is a couple of years old now. I also find it a little easier to completely hide the P2 in my hand whilst hitting. My friend has now ordered a P2 and plans to semi-retire his MFLB when it arrives. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's just because they are new, but I've been getting 4 sessions out of each battery, which means I never need to carry more than 2 with me at any time.

Also, I read some earlier posts about the battery being loose in its chamber. VB seem to have fixed that problem as mine are nice and snug in there.

@420yum Mine was hard to open the first few times too. It lossened up a little after that though.

Well, it has been about 4 months since I got this little guy and it has been nothing but fantastic. Kief gets a bit too gummy and I had a light trenchload combust once.

I have been able to remove and clean both screens with a modicum of effort, so all in all I am very, very happy with this unit and gladly recommend it as a much cheaper alternative to the MFLB (I got my Palm 2.0 for $60 off of rakuten). I'm surprised this thread is so inactive!

Hello all. I completely forgot about this until I got an email for a new post so I figured I would give an update. I still have my palm 2 and she is still running strong. However due to tolerance I have stopped using herb and instead only use kief in it. I went maybe a month without using it at all and the first trench through it again was exactly the same as every other one. I still love this little device and hope everyone else's is still running strong. Peace

Hi All!

Have Palm 2, used for wax concentrates. Works a charm without top screen installed!

I've never removed the bottom screen, but would like to so I can ISO soak. Anyone have any pictures of a unit disassembled? What's under the bottom screen?

Thanks

Under the bottom screen its just the two bars that provide the power that the screen attaches to. You can get the screen out and reuse it if you're careful.

I've used it for wax and oil and found if your wax is subpar it would stain the screen. I took mine off and tried soaking in iso but the black stain wouldn't come off. It still worked fine, just had the black stain. I ended up purchasing replacement screens. I think they are 2 for 25.

Concentrates will stain the screen and be difficult to clean off but the Palm 2.0 handles them quite well.

When I did straight hash on the screen it worked great but left a stain, more cosmetic than damaging, flavor not really affected.

Now, I put down a bed of herb first in the trench as a buffer to keep that from happening.

I don't use my palm 2.0 much anymore but it is nice to have around as a backup and for concentrate use. I can also put a relatively tiny amount in it and vape it very gradually and efficiently with proper technique.

My biggest issue with the Palm 2.0 at this point is that it really hurts/fatigues my fingers and wrist (arthritis) to hold the battery in over and over again. If it was more comfortable to hold and use I would probably have it in my rotation a lot more often. As far as functionality, flavor, efficiency and control of your temp the Palm does an otherwise admirable job.

I mostly liked my P2, but you've hit on the things I disliked the most about it. The pushback ring required a lot of force to overcome. In the one I had it was glued in there so it was difficult to change. I never tried to pull it out. It also wouldn't allow me to use the MFLB power adapter, which would have solved the problem for me since I would use it at my desk most of the time. If I recall correctly, the hole in the pushback ring was the wrong size. I don't have mine any more so I can't check, and I have the new MFLB PA now as well.

If you could have just pulled out the ring and popped in one from the LB, it would have let me use the PA and I wouldn't have needed as much force to use the battery.

(Mods, apologies on the back to back posting. I am unable to edit the previous post).

All, was wondering if anyone has used batteries other than those sold as replacements for the Palm 2.0.

Am looking to increase heating performance a bit (like on another vape where you can use 3.7V battery instead of a 3.2V to increase heat).

Any other known rechargables that offer a bit more punch?

Thanks,
DDave

There is no sin in posting back to back once your edit window has closed.

The original batteries are actually fairly low powered because the P2 has such a small screen it doesn't need much. Powerex 2400s will provide the boost you're looking for but they will increase your combustion risk. The Magic-Flight glyph batteries will basically turn the P2 into a lighter.

@DDave I use tenergy 2500 mAh Batteries in my palm and palm 2.0. They make it better for me then the stock ones. The new Mflb logo batteries take it right to combustion but the tenergy 2500s are perfect IMO.

Hi pakalolo, Thanks for excusing the double-post. :)
Appreciate the information on the Powerex batteries! Looking into these. Definitely agree on the strength of the originals. They were awesome to learn the unit with, but need to move past that stage now... ;)
