That really depends on your location. CA is kind of a big state.

OK, so I am sure the cartridges contain Polyethylene Glycol I still don't know about the syringes.

I don't think the syringes have PG in them, just the O-pen carts. The viscosity of the oil in the syringes and out is quite sticky, to the point where it's a bit hard to get off.

Agreed, although I did find the O Pen wax to be of a grainier (crystally?) texture over what comes out of the OL syringes. There's got to be an additional process taken with those IMO.

I called med-west and they claim the syringes contain only co2 extract, no pg. I would still love to see a lab test showing that and the cannabinoid/terpene profile of some of their offerings.

Thanks, Yea I saw that but it is from 2011 and I think from Colorado not Med-West's offerings. I guess I want to see that kind of information on every package. One day maybe. One strain I have was labeled 'high cbd' so that was useful information to me. A terpeniod profile would also be nice or at least a flavor description.

I've yet to try the OrganaLabs syringes, but after reading through this thread I think I want to give it a go. Now, do they only make one Sativa, one Hybrid and one Indica? Or do they have several strains in each category? As you know, their website doesn't give any details on the strains available( at least, not that I can find). Anybody know where I can find more info on strains? Also, for those that have used the product any favorite strains?.. And finally, can someone differentiate the high you get from OrganaLabs stuff vs. say Pure Gold? The way I understand it is that Pure Gold is a little stronger, but The OrganaLabs stuff tastes better. True?? I want to get me some of this shit.....

They make many many strains. Here is another review.

    http://www.medicaljane.com/review/the-o-pen-vape-portable-vaporizer/

    The relevant quote is

"Organa Labs sources their own trim from around the state and runs large quantity batches at a time to keep up with the high demand. They recognize the fact that the taste may not be the best in California, but they aren’t doing bad with what they have available to them, so we commend them for that.

Although the pens may not taste the best, the effects are always true to their name. The Sativa strains will still be uplifting and the indica will still get you stoned and make you tired. However, the flavors of the individual strains are generally indistinguishable. I could hardly detect a difference in taste between different sativa and indica cartridges."

They are talking about the o.pens but I feel the same about the syringes.

I get more affect from the OL syringes then I do from PG. PG tastes nice but doesn't do much for me.

I prefer the Mr. Nice "flavor", as well as the Pineapple Kush. ALso, I second what @bruno13 just posted.

The o.pens sometimes come with refrigerator magnets. Here are some of their offerings. I think they made syringes with all these also.

    Green - indica
    red - sativa
    purple - hybrid

My favorite organalabs syringe is the Sour Diesel.
With that strain, I prefer the smell over PureGold(which is just non-weed citrus) as well as the potency!

    I have tried

    AK-47
    Bubba Kush
    Shiskaberry
    Green Crack

All tasted somewhat similar but looked and felt different. I was not excited by any of the flavors but they did work as advertised.

i will look for Mr. Nice, pineapple Kush, and sour diesel.

you have to wonder, as with all concentrate, if they use clean material (no pm /mold, cides)

Looks like you and Caligula concur that while PG may taste a little better the OL syringes are generally more potent. I think I'll pick up a couple syringes in the next few days!!

It seems like the OL oil in the syringe would be easy to load on the Dabbler coil w/o making a mess of the threads. Do you agree?

Thanks for the strain specific info as well...

Cool..you haven't steered me wrong yet Caligula....

Btw, as far as Pure Gold is concerned, does anyone know if PG leans more Indica or Sativa? This question has been asked on FC a couple times, but I don't think it's ever been answered. I prefer indicas and hybrids more, as I medicate primarily at night.

They wont say, however PG is almost entirely Delta9-THC, CBDs are almost non-existent... do I'd guess sativa?

Protip for the syringes: pull back before you push forward. Don't want all that oil to shoot out all of a sudden all over your fingers!

Also heating it slightly with a lighter helps quite a lot.
