www.delta9vapes.com has all the info you need on it. It's like the V1 omicron but charges with a mini USB cord on the bottom. It also acts as a passthrough so you can have it plugged in and charging while using it at home or near a device with USB.

Same thing, different charger. 4.2v discharge while in passthrough or fully charged. 5-click on/off, 2.4ohm cart, fill tool, mouthpiece, charger cord and wall plug, and same case as V1.

    Definitely worth it's own thread!
The O-Phos is made to replace the Omi V1, but I've found it to be an improvement over the V1 and use it way more then my V2 as well. Of all my portables, this is one I would not want to be without.
Nothing simpler than reaching into your pocket, pressing the button, bringing it up to your lips, sipping some joy, and putting it back in your pocket during a parent teacher conference. :)
Gets one of my highest recommends and G and Dub's CS are legend in these parts.

Why a new thread? It's a variation of the Omicron. And the Omicron thread is chock full of goodness.

Good call Fully Melted, my experience with the O-Phos has been distinctly more enjoyable than with my Omi 1 and 2 and I let my passion speak for my logic.
As long as it gets it's due in the Omi thread, it's covered.

Just picked up one of these from my LHS for $72.00. My only pen experience has been with a Stok pen, and though that pen was more discrete looking imo, this out performs it on every level. Especially safety of materials, which is my biggest concern. Clouds with the 2.4 Omi cartridge are massive, and much bigger than the toxic Stok or my friend's Micro G. Very happy with this purchase.

I was thinking about buying my first vape pen to try it and found the ophos when buying my solo and GonG in that shops but not much info about it. Do you think this will be a good first vape pen? It's better with QWISO or BHO? I do my own, so I don't care about doing one or the other, just want to know what will work best in it (now goes to Omi1 thread to search more info about it)

b0, my only other experience with vape pens was 3 weeks with a shitty stok pen (where you load single dabs onto heating element) and I found this ophos/omi cart to be a breeze. Any first timer can master it quickly. It's all about the loading I think. Once it all smoothly drips into the cartridge it's smooth sailing. 3 other friends have tried mine for the first time and they all blew huge clouds with no effort. As for what it likes best, really any concentrate that can smoothly/continuously melt into the cartridge, without big air pockets forming. As OF likes to say, you don't ever see anyone from omi cartridges stepping down to other types. I wish I saved my initial $70 and got this vape first.

On another note, I think this Ophos body design is much sexier/less conspicuous than the Omicron/Persei where the large battery + bare cartridge make it more like you're sucking from a screw driver. My city isn't as liberal as some others so anything that looks more like an e-cig is a plus for me. I just have to order a new mouthpiece, that silicone one looks a little goofy.

O-Phos at this time remains my favorite of my Delta9 pens.
    I loved my original Omicron.
I own the Omicron V2, but the O-Phos works consistently better.
There are many other pens I have been testing, but Delta9 is an original...
    in a class by itself~

This pen can not be compared to the VIP.
As I said it is in a class by itself.
I like it because I can load an entire gram, and then not have to fill for a time.
There is also something to be said for the fresh flavor of less wax stored in cart becoming reduced and thicker (losing flavor).
I love my O-Phos for different reasons and for other applications.
I can not compare the two.

As far as quality are they about equal?

That has been explored pretty thoroughly in the Omicron Thread at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/omicron-vaporizer-for-oils.4301/
It is 400 pages long and dozens of vaporists discuss all of the facts of other pens....
and they compare them to the Omicron and O-Phos(which has exact makep, same cart system etc)

The O-Phos can make a gram of wax last for 400 hits...

Using mine in the morning for nausea, a gram lasted a month!
(ten hits apporx each morning... mileage may vary)
They are used by me for different venues and I am not able to make a claim on quality.

The battery for the O-Phos/Omicron Light is the device itself. If you want a more modular device you can get the Omicron or Persei. Omicron and Persei allow you to switch out the batteries and have a lifetime warranty. O-Phos/Omi Light only come with a one year warranty.
