Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Really interested to hear how waxes work in the 1701's.

Worked great for 5 minutes then eater gave out. Time for a new prototype.

Bummer. This was a new cart? Hopefully an artifact of the prototyping, that kind of stuff happens.

Otherwise, the testing sounds very promising. Neat as Omicron carts are, improvements would be very nice.

Yes its just a prototype issue, but we have 3 more on the testing block, im already confident its going to work as i have 500 2.4's being put into production once final testing is done this week. Then people on fc will test it out and we will go on and make changes so on and so forth.

You know after i said something about not improving the 1701's i was mistaken as some how i thought of like 10 improvements in the future. Funny thing is my empty heat never stops working.

You can also easily find 'USB extension cables' (male/female) in several lengths which I find more convenient sometimes.

I bought the HVD upgrade and 2x 5 Extract Cartridges 3.0 OHM on Black Friday and used 2 of them on the HVD 7.4 without knowing I should only use it with the 3.7. Is there anyway I could exchange the box of 5 Extract Cartridge I didn't open to 4 or 5 Ohm?

For some reason the two 3 Ohm cartridges I used don't create much vapor with the short tube while it still does with the long tube but I did mainly use them on the long one (don't know if that matters). I am suppose to use these cartridges with the short one right?

I am a long time Omicron user. Started with V1, then I bought a couple V2s, then upgraded the tops. Love them still. But I was looking for bigger rips, so I just got the new Persei/Hammer combo from THCS. I have a couple questions I couldn't find answers to here or at D9.

1. How do you fill the hammer carts with oil? The fill tool does not fit them. Pastry tips again?
2. What is the max amount of oil I can put in the hammer cart?

hey, the hammer carts aren't for putting oil in. they are for doing torchless dabs or for heating the bender for vaping herbs. if you do combust it is also a butane free way to light joint, bowls, etc. hope that helps

Is the 1701 a fully bottom fed cart? Ceramic or other element?

Cause this makes it sound like the heater is on one side or not a full diameter style heater.

Thanks Bob, I called D9 and they told me I could put .2gm in it at a time. There is a little cart that holds it. I think you can use that and stuff it with herb simultaneously.

yo how does one get the omicron through airport security? Traveling to new york from SF in a couple weeks, don't want to have to leave my omicron behind. of course if they open the zippable case lots of hash oil aroma will come out... should i put it in my carry on or in my luggage to be checked in? would this get through security?

Personally, I would mail your carts or concentrate ahead of time just to be safe and pack the Omicron in your luggage.

mail them to a friend or cousin over there? I might just be able to mail concentrate and carts there....

do you think if in the case itself is just the omicron itself and charger they won't take it away even if it reeks heavily of the concentrate still?
