hey guys, just got my 1st enail. im running the auber rdk 300 flat coil with a TAG domeless titanium nail with sic dish. im surprised to see that even though the sic halo nail is supposed to be alot nicer quality( and probably still is) that im still able to dab at temps as low as 570-600 f and get the whole dab. my problem is that i feel i should be q tipping alot more out to save my nails lifespan.

even at these temps my dab is pretty much all gone after 3 or 4 hits.granted, i take small dabs usually, and the dish is still probably a little to big for them so they just spread out completely and vanish after a few carbs, leaving almost nothing to wipe up.

is this pretty much just burning a thin layer of residue on my sic dish? i feel like i should be getting more back out of the dish when i q tip it...

Sounds about normal for those temps, I run a SIC Halo at 480-510 and it rarely takes more that a single q-tip to get everything.

Definitely do not worry about ruining your nail, SIC is insane, a soak in room temp distilled water takes care of most cleaning and for the harder mess you can torch it hotter than anything you've ever used before and it wipes right off clean as new, you basically can't chaz SIC up like quartz or ti.
