NewVape Mighty 100 Ton Rosin Press

@invertedisdead our testing found nothing beats lightly clamping on a digital cooking thermometer for 2-3 min for normalized plate temp accuracy (not infrared heat gun). Even chefs double check what the oven's reading. We found that the thermocoupler installed inside the stainless plate reads different than what's happening at the squishing surface. Either way once the pressing process is captured we can set the temp offset inside the controller. More importantly is our plates utilize heat shields and insulator plates to help keep the energy within the press plates. We also found that a clamping force can be applied to the flat coil that can't be duplicated with the cartridge heater which produces a more efficient heat transfer, resulting in a smaller temp offset. This also minimizes heat creep throughout the press structure and allows the customer to have more constant plate temps over a longer period of time. A thermocoupler can be added to any of our presses or plates. We do sell flat coils and cartridge heaters. We have modified the basic enail controller to allow cost to be kept down. The enail approach allows our customers to switch coils without having to solder wires. Off the shelf enail electronics, user serviceability, and BVA hydraulics with their local service centers allows our customers to keep our presses up and running. Having sold more than 500 sets of stainless press plates into the DIY rosin press market one thing resonates that people really depend on their press. We consider Press UP time as one of our main design objectives. We do have multiple control options depending if the customer wants individual control of each heater or not. Watlow heaters and controls have been considered if we find the right commercial project that requires them. We are a machine shop is south Florida so making adjustments to our products is pretty easy for us. Please consider nothing standard. We are exhibiting at the NorCal Cannabis cup next week and hope to find the right partner to help us develop the 100 ton press.

have to say, over kill or not, I for one would love to see this beast in action! do you have a prepress mold, and how much weight ballpark are you expecting it to handle per squish?
