which dabber do you guys like better?
I like both, but the ball dabber is freaking tiny on the end ... really feels like it could break at any time (even though it probably won't), so I'm just super careful with it. I do like having the ball on the end to have something to catch on to though.

Hey all new bowl styles in , "short version" glass bowls with smaller internal volume, more closely matching NewVape bowl volume (11mm internal height) .

18mm Male, Short Version:

14mm Male, Short Version:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/253736402478

I have yet to try them but a friend of mine has said they work nicely .

They work wonderfully, I like the short bowl better for my use case than the deeper party bowl, and the ones sold on Ebay (both ones shipping from China and the USA source on Ebay) are indeed the ones that NewVape is reselling.

Identical and from the same source factory.

I tried a screen in them but felt I was undermining the reason I got a glass bowl and I don't mind the little occasional bits that get into my water.

If you haven't tried one and love your SH or other FP, then you would be well served buying one, IMO (they are relatively inexpensive).

very interesting, what might i need if i just wanna use it with an 18mm piece? id like to find some sort of dropdown to protect dat cheap china glass lol
One thing you can do is get a 14 mm glass bowl and then get a low profile 18-14 adapter. You don't need a drop down and if you are really worried at least this approach will give you some peace of mind as your bowl and WP will not be in direct contact.

Something like this but its also available from many other sources

https://www.amazon.com/shop7ten-14mm-18mm-Glass-Bushing-Adapter/dp/B00TI1Q3JY

Here is one from TAG

and

https://dankstop.com/products/18mm-male-to-14mm-female-low-profile-adapter?variant=22931403014

and many more

I have a 14 mm and a C2 18 mm stemless can that I use with the FP and that's exactly what I do.

Happy 710 day #teamflowerpot I'd like to personally thank you all for supporting newVape. 12,000 post in this feed that's just amazing. I'm thrilled to read about the vrod's acceptance. With your help we will continue to improve the flowerpot. The generic 28mm sic dishes are in transit and should be appearing within the next 2 weeks. Both 10mm male, and 10mm female shovelhead bowl posts will appear tomorrow. Additionally we will be releasing our first cannagar mold (it turned out really nice). Our vacuum rosin press is in the final stages of testing and shows promising results of increased yields, or decreased heat and same yields (not ready to release actual numbers yet).

I think it's been mentioned before but the Ti coil post doesn't stick as much, right?
https://www.newvape.com/titanium-flowerpot-coil-post

My VROD has been sticking more & more lately :(

My VRod sticks to the heatpost like it's holding on for its life when it's freshly heated. I've bent the coil trying to get it free (not much, but ugh)... I finally realized it was thermal expansion of the post causing this, about four days before reading this comment. I've since been propping the handle up so that the head doesn't rest at an angle until after the post has heated up, which works but is annoying.

I've just ordered the Ti post, yay 7/10 discount. Hopefully that will fix the problem for good.

Edit: I was unable to buy the Ti heatpost without selecting the insert as well. $1 to the Vaporizer Gods, I suppose.

Fairly sure this is the wrong thread to ask this but will this vacuum press come in a 220v version? Or are there any plans to do the closed loop controllers in 220v?

Hope everyone has a kick ass week!

Anyone remember the stubby post for the FP? Thoughts?

stubby_post-1.jpg

I like this, and actually could have used it the other day! Would definitely be useful with larger groups. That way there are multiple places to put the hot FP without moving the large base around.

Will be picking one up when the SiC dishes come in.

Hey, stupid question but when buying the dnail SiC dishes I don't need to worry about retaining nut size, since I'll be using newvapes retaining nut, correct?

Just wanna be sure before I spend the dough - thanks!

I believe that is correct, but might want someone else to confirm.

However, if you're looking to save even more cash and can wait a few weeks, New Vape will be getting their own 28mm SiC dishes in stock soon. Edwyn posted approximately 2 weeks. They will be cheaper than DNails. I believe it's rumored they will sell for $20, but don't quote me on that. Just fyi.

What is a cannagar mold?

you can have a look at sasquatch (Rosin press manufacturer) instagram or youtube, they are quite sucessfull with their cannacigar thing.
It s a bit similar to blunts and in my opinion pretty wasteful / good for showing of if you are a rich rapper

That said, i would take one now as my workday sucks big time today.

It is surely great if you are a member of Cypress Hill and not able to go through your stash fast enough :D

I think that stubby post is great in conjunction with the battery pack. Perfect compliment for on the go! but agree a carb cap spot would be great, and LOVE the idea of making it look more like a "flower pot"

Very interested to hear more about this vac rosin press! Is it better than what's currently available? Is there a ballpark price point yet? :D:leaf:
