So I've saved up a half ounce of AVB or ABV and i want to try experimenting with it before i go and make a batch of brownies. i have been reading all over the internet about recipes. i have set aside 1.2 grams of avb and plan on mixing it with peanut butter and just spreading it on bread. i have no intentions on putting it in an oven or microwave. so my question is if i mix the 1.2 with natural organic PB with a high fat content will it get me baked? if not please add constructive criticism

Your AVB shouldnt have any active ingredients in it. I dont get why people vape if there vape isnt doing its job,but we still see avb hash threads all the time.

eating 1.2 grams of decarbed dank wont get me high, I dont think that would be enough. AVB is disgusting to eat btw, I've nearly puked from tasting a crumb of it

ABV will definitely have actives in it because not all actives are released below the combustion point. Remember, there's more to your high than cannabinoids. You also have terpenes, terpenoids, and flavonoids, all of which affect the high and have their own medicinal properties. Quercetin, for example, is a common, beneficial flavonoid found in cannabis and it has a boiling point of 482F. Also, keep in mind that many users try to stay below 394F, the temperature at which trace amounts of benzene become present in the vapor. So for these users the ABV will retain a good amount of actives. There are a number of reasons, some avoidable and others not, why ABV will retain some actives. You'd be hard pressed to find completely useless ABV. I honestly don't even know if it's possible.

To answer your question, it depends on you. Yes, it potentially can get you high. However, it takes A LOT of ABV to make good edibles so you'll have to try it to know whether 1.2g is enough for you. IMO eating that much vaped plant matter may make you sicker than it will make high. You're better off saving up more and making butter or coconut oil with it.

I prefer making canna oil, extracting the actives and dispensing of the solids, then cooking with that. Eating "raw"abv doesnt appeal to me.

^nonsense! Its good in yogurt, pb&j, milkshakes, brownies, lots of stuff! I tried doing iso with it once and it looked like tar, so i never retried.

But! Taste buds change every 8 years or so, so you might like it now, but not down tha road. Or inversely

The beauty of vaporizing is that, unlike smoking, you have a choice of what you get when you vape. Saying that everyone is supposed to vape every bowl all the way to near combustion is just applying your own choice to all vaporists and saying it's the only way.

If your ABV is black is it's not worth saving for anything. If not, it can certainly have value for sedative and analgesic purposes.
