Here is a thermocouple probe I have rated for 1800f http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0082MPUOY/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And here is a digital thermometer that takes a k-type thermocouple probe http://www.sweetmarias.com/sweetmar...es/digital-thermometer-with-thermocouple.html I am sure you could search amazon for this as well. The less expensive thermometers have a slower read then say a Fluke but unless you have other things you will use it for spending $300 may not be what you want to do.

I have been able to check the DBV TI nail like temps (780f) and have been checking my TI temps on the bubbler and torch, 0ver 1100f for glowing and around 800-900f for a dab. TI looses heat fast when the torch is off the nail.

Thanx GR I Didn't Know if a IR Temp Gun was best or a unit with a probe, I'd only use it to check out my
Vapes so the lower the cost the better. The temperatures and price on this type unit is more of what I was
looking for, If I spent 300 bucks I'd have no Herb for a month and that wouldn't work out very well.

THANX AGAIN, you were a big help!!

I think there are some cheap IR temperature guns on deal extreme and sites like that. They should work well enough if your measurements are not hyper critical.

THANX Tweek I'll give them a look, right now I'm leaning towards a K-type thermocouple probe unit due to
cost and temperature range. Cheaper IR guns don't seem to reach much over 500F, Thanks for The input
I've never used devices such as these,so much you can mess with and DIY when it comes to vappin' its like
the hobby that keeps on giving.

ENJOY A VAPOR FILLED DAY !
