Hell yes! Got my lens today. Just have to work on some lighting issues and I'll have several strains to share, including two new ones. Picked up 2 1/8ths. Skywalker OG and Tahoe OG.

I forgot to tell you, slide the lens off and it won't take the ring off (if your phone didn't already have a metal ring around the lens to stick to.) Slide, don't pull.

Lighting is really the key (of course). I've got a couple of lights I can use which should make a difference, just need someplace to clamp them. Here's most of the current strains I have.

Beautiful looking pictures, especially from a cell phone(with that cool lens, correct?) !These are all close-ups, trying to see what it can do and cant. Plus too lazy to take more than this, as its was too many pics, as it was.

I'm going to buy one of these, can't go wrong, with an ultra portable alternative to taking my big camera to numerous places, impromptu like.

On a Permanent Vakation
My lighting is a regular incandescant bulb for general lighting, and a handheld LED 'bar.' I'll take a pic, from a foot or two away, with my iPhone, next time I do a flower shoot, to show my general setup. I' almost always end up holding the light, by hand, while shooting. No big deal with a tripod.
My next camera, will have the following: interchangeable lenses, and the ability to fully tether it to my PC/phone (control/view with PC, not have to look at/touch camera once it's aimed, adjust ALL settings from PC, live, and have a much larger monitor (my HDTV)).

I'll probably buy that, but while I'm waiting on shipping...I've got a few broken DVD-R drives from old PCs that need to be dismantled. Check this out, if you don't have $5 or the patience to wait for it to come in the mail...Gotta love Life Hacker!

That's the amazing thing on shipping. I was expecting this next week, closer to Wednesday.
It shipped late on the 25th and I had it on the 27th (though, my daughter forgot to give it to me, until today).
EDIT: its a solid little build. Metal and glass, with a strong ass little magnet on it.

Okay, I made one. I hacked open a DVD-R drive, and got the lens out. I took a box of little debbies brownies, and cut a 1"square piece out. I used a razor blade, and made a crude hole, a little smaller than the lens. then, with the lens laying flat on the table, I laid the little debbies box square thing over the lens, lining the hole up over the lense. Then, I pushed down, around the edgeds of the cut out, and it popped onto the lens. Then, I just took off my iPhone case, and slipped the little cardboard/lens thing underneath, and moved it over the camera lens. The case holds it in place perfect...It may live there now!
First pic was taken by holding my phone up to my bathroom mirror, and pulling it away slightly, to allow it to focus. Almost touching. The second pic, farther away, to show the phone more, but it wouldn't focus, obviously.
These next three, are Chocolope
And, the last four, are of the same nugget of M.O.B. that I posted pictures of most recently, in this thread. Albeit a little smaller now

All taken, with an iPhone 4s, and a samsung DVD-R drive lens.
Edit** I like the looks of your pics, better than mine, BDV! I should clean the lens on mine, as you can see in the first pic, but I think your lens is probably more suited for actually taking pictures...

Not sure, as the lines aren't clear. The only references I can find to it and the flowers do look similar, is its actually Cotton Candy which has Afghani and Blueberry strains. Plus, the strains medicinal qualities match up, though instead of tasting like Cotton Candy, it tastes like blueberries to me. But, it is a VERY sweet, sugary flavor.

Stopped by the dispensary to pick up some Medi-Bud, and found out they have a few raffles going on. Yesterday, they raffled off a dry pipe, and they are doing to same today. Free entry, so I entered today. And, tomorrow, they said to come back in and enter again, as the prize for tomorrows free "halloween" raffle, is a half ounce of Chocolope 
So, I'll definitely be visiting tomorrow, as well. They also mentioned that for every $75 spent on halloween, you receive one free gram. Here are some more 'DVD macro lens' pics with the iPhone, of the Medi-Bud.
