We now have a mobile friendly style which automatically rearranges page elements to fit the size of your screen. You can try it by selecting "FC Soft Responsive" from the style chooser located at the bottom left of each page as shown in the image below. Or by clicking here.

Embedded Youtube videos seem to cause scaling issues on some mobile devices. That is being looked into.

Works well with the native Android browser on my phone... however, is there any way that it could be made to have a dark background? It's easier on my eyes :)

Works good on Android Chrome. +1 for a dark background. Either that or someway to recognize when it's a mobile browser and switch to this theme for that session. Too much of a pain to keep switching back and toooo white on my desktop/laptop/tablet.

Notifications seem a little broken. Sometimes those that have been viewed won't be cleared and sometimes new notifications don't appear until I actually open the notification centre.

The mobile site works well. I would prefer a dark background, it's a little too bright for me.

Glad you guys are getting some use out of the mobile style. It took me a while to warm up to the brighter color scheme but I'm digging it now. Give it some time. :) The mobile aspects are specific to the style and unfortunately it's not a simple matter to make it dark.

It should be handling notifications the same as when using a desktop browser. Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

There's really nothing to see. Occasionally i just wont receive a notification for a subscribed topic. It's probably got more to do with how many topics I'm watching than anything else.

I like how the mobile theme changes depending on the orientation of my tablet. Vertical is just forum headings, horizontal also shows latest topic and poster

What kind of tablet do you have KON?
I just tried out the mobile friendly version on my iPad, and like most others find the White too hard on my sensitive eyes...and my orientation doesn't seem to change at all when switching between vertical and horizontal viewing...Will try out on my iPod touch later to see if I like the mobile friendly style better on that(I know I'm not a fan of normal viewing of the forum on my iPod, but almost always have my iPad with me anyway).

Having issues now. I'm logged in on my phone and desktop, and before I had mobile friendly on my phone and regular ok my desktop. Now it doesn't distinguish between devices. I set soft on phone, when I refresh my desktop it sets soft mode, and vice versa.

Thought i would share a sort-of solution that i've found for the blinding whiteness of this theme... at least on my phone.

This is how it looks on my phone. I use Boat browser (fav out of all of them and yes, i've tried them all) on android, and it has a night view mode which does what you see in the pic. It's also very nice for facebook. Kinda dims the pics but you can just longpress and open those.

But... is it just me or is there no way to post pics in messages on mobile theme? I had to get on my computer to post this cause i didnt see the option. oddly enough its using the bright white mobiel theme on my pc new too and the pic option shows up there. guess i could always just type in tags manually...

The yellow textbox is ugly. Grey is fine.

very very nice! Thank you :-)

I'm still wondering how to post pictures from my phone. I hit the more options button and it didn't seem to bring up any more options... No insert URL or image buttons or anything, basically just changes the more options button to a preview button

You can always just type "[ img ]" before the image URL and "[ /img ]" afterwards. Remove the spaces from inside the brackets and don't include the quote marks, I had to do it that way so that the forum software wouldn't get confused. A pain to do on a phone, but it works.

    Upload to imgur.com

Once it's done, copy the BBC Code section with the img /img section

Paste like a link here, software uploads as a picture

yeah this wasn't working for me the other day, but I realize now that it's because Dropbox image links don't seem to work at all, for this type of usage anyway.

    Thanks for the suggestios guys
