Is the black stain/paint being used on the inside of the vaporization chamber non toxic, also wondering how this can be cleaned to a like new state after being used?

Still hoping someone brings to market a portable oil vape using Ti nail/pad that can be scraped clean after each use and has no exposed mesh/wire in the heater, that could be used with a mini hydratube.
They said on reddit that it's black India ink or something like that. I would assume it's nontoxic, it's Magic Flight after all :)

I'm in the same situation..and still waiting for that vape :myday:

About this vape, i'm honest, i'm not a fan of this type of batteries but i put my hands down, they stick faithful of their design, nice improvements, very beautiful piece of work
I get what you mean, lots of people don't like the battery setup of the LB but you'd be surprised how far one battery can go with the MD.

Yes, i know, i was just referring about the aesthetics side, on my point of view of course , and my laziness  i simply prefer a built in battery so i don't need to bother with that

I have really been having fun w/ this thing.. It seems to have a similar maximum load capacity as the CT's (~.05g IIRC).. It's really great for fast small hits, and for conserving.. I had a good amount of puddling occur w/ bigger hits, but I took @poonman's advice and made a foil drip pan.. It's kind of weird to explain how I did it though, but here is a picture..

It's working out nicely for me so far.. No complaints, no worries..

Yesterday I was taking probably 3-4 loads worth of wax, rolling it into a worm, and dabbing it straight off screen with the lid completely open.. This thing has been a lot of fun, and the concentrates have been keeping me nice. :ko:

I have oil building up on the bottom of mine too, but wasn't sure what to do about it, if anything. Is that aluminum foil?

Yup, it is.. Do you think I should be concerned about it? I didn't want to use foil in there, but it is the most practical thing I could figure out so far.. IMO it's fine.

I'm not sure if it is safe or not.

I don't see why foil wouldn't work its only catching drips the bottom of the box stays nice and cool. Just my thoughts anyways.
Yeah I feel the same way.. The oil puddle isn't vaping off the foil, so I don't see how the foil could be getting enough heat to worry about.. I should also mention that as a precaution, I hit the foil w/ some flame to burn off any chemicals before using it (pro-tip from a past life :ninja:).
how is this even possible?
Very carefully ;).. Maybe I will try to throw together a little how to video some time.. Or a Picture tutorial  There is a little bit of origami involved.. IMO the hardest part is getting it seated to your liking.. It is pretty easy to get it in and out of there IMO.

this thing looks promising. lets not be surprised if the next innovation magic flight pulls out is a real dab feature added to this trench. imagine inserting the battery and when the screen is finally red you slide down some sort of spring loaded lever on the outside of the box that could engage a metal pin with the oil to touch onto the screen when lever is slid.. am I just too blasted or is this conceivable? this could also somewhat relieve the issue of all the contaminants remaining in the screen ala healthstone.

how is this going to be better than just using a concentrate tray in a LB for much cheaper if you already have one?

Much better battery life and much faster. The concentrate trays are sold as consumables, by the way. No clue how long they're supposed to last, must depend a lot on how often they're used/cleaned. The MD can self-clean with no damage to itself by just running it dry. IMO they both have their pros. Trays can handle melty bubble hash and clean right up without gunking anything up. I can't say I would get the same results from the same Hubble in the MD, hence why it's a liquid concentrate vape.

I don't see why you can't just do it as it is with a dabber? Actually, considering the screen is part of the circuit, I'm not sure if touching a ti dabber to it is a good idea... You could take out the pushback ring and put the battery in, then drop bhombs onto the screen. In fact, let me try that right now.

Edit: kind of a pain what with such open airflow.

I too noticed that oil would drip onto the wood. In our critique ( @Deadshort480 @King ) I think it was mentioned if the trench could be removable or unscrewable. This way users could reclaim any lost oil. Also another idea we tossed around was making the bottom (removable component) from something other than wood. Like metal in the shape of a bowl/trench so the oil would collect towards the middle.

Here is a clip of the Alpha version in action:

I would expect to get the tracking info soon.. It is probably because of the holidays.. I had something coming from them this time last year.. it was supposed to go out just before x-mas and it got delayed about a week because of the holidays.. Typically they are right on top of these things IME.. but around this time of year I would expect some delays.

so you think that despite the shipping email they sent to me, that still the order hasnt actually left mf yet? at this point i guess that would be good news as opposed to my package having left magicflights hands and being officially lost or unnaccounted for.
This is the email i received on tuesday.

I often don't get updated tracking until packages arrive at my local post office then I receive all the tracking info along with "out for delivery" so you could still get it today or tomorrow. I know waiting can be a drag but give it a day or two if it only got sent out Tuesday it is only Thursday, that's 2 days give it a full 3-4 days. Let it be late before you worry.

Yeah I think you are waiting because of the time of the year, not so much because MF is slippin.. I wouldn't even be surprised if they were on vacation for the holidays until Monday??

I got an email on Christmas Eve last year, and didn't get my package until a little after the New Year. I only live 2 hours away from them too.. Typically my orders from them arrive damn near over night.. I'm sure that it would have too IME, if it was any other time of the year.. I think that is pretty understandable.

got in touch with mf. but before i post their response i want to thank the good samaritans who rushed to my aid here at fc. this is why i love this forum, everyone is eager to share and help.

so this is what their response was to alleviate my worries that my package might have been lost in trans.

Thank you for your recent order!

We have a 24-48 hour processing period, and only operate on business days, so all orders placed on Fridays after 4pm, Saturdays and Sundays are processed for shipment the following Monday or Tuesday. (They are processed in the order received, with expedited shipments taking priority and shipping out the next business day).
As for your order it was processed on Tuesday the 31st. Keep in mind yesterday was a Holiday so nothing moved. It should be back on track as of today and your order should arriveon Monday the 6th. We apologized for the delay as the timing of dates is what has happened in your case.

I hope this helps clear things up for you, but please feel free to contact me with any further questions.
Wishing you a wonderful day!

Get used to it, I'm sure if I were evil enough I could make them bend backwards for me  I actually just sent Hobbit an email not long ago for a warranty on my power adapter. I think I talked to them Monday and package in hand today (nice living close to them ;)). You're in good hands!
