So after weeks of exploring these forms I finally decided to sack up and join the party. As a virgin to FC I need all the expert opinions I can get. Anyways, I've been smoking about a gram a day sometimes an 8th every two days for like 8 years and I need t get more effecient in my usage for my wallet and my health. I'm looking for a great home unit to guide me on my vapor journey. I mentioned the enano and lsv because after researching for some time those seem to fit my needs but I'm always open to nany suggestions. Here's what I'm looking for:
-Something under $250
-Something to get me extremely mediciated(most important)
-Something that is somewhat conservative( Id rather not have to pack .4 every time to get me medicated properly)
-Something durable that will be a solid investment w/ a good warranty
-I'm not looking to smoke out of water pipes so a device that gives powerful hits strictly on direct draw
-Anyone with a both a lsv and enano that can offer a comparison?
Like I said I'm open to any suggestion so fire away!
Thanks guys, this site fucking rules

The LSV is a big hitter but made really to use with a water tool although it can be used dry I don't recommend it for that since it gets very hot and doesn't stand on it's own.

The enano is really conservative and good for dry hits as are a few other 'log' style vapes. My favorite log at the moment (because I own one) is the Underdog.

I would go on and on and put forward the reasons why I recommend a log vape but instead believe you should check out the enano, underdog, heat island treads. The posts there from many happy owners speak for themselves.

I LOVE my UD and i haven't tried an E-NANO, but there's a ton of love for that around here and its very obvious why, its a great vape. If you can hand the bigger Da buddha and just use a lsv wand with it, that removes the whole whip. That's how i used my dbv.

Thanks Rude Boy I'll explore the forums again even though I've definitely tore through almost all the enanp and lsv forums :myday:

@Caligula How do you like it just direct draw without water?

Appreciate it @KidFated. Would you go log vape over 7th floor products? I've heard they are super efficient and I'm looking to cut back cause I smoke quite a bit. I know that vaporizing is gonna help with that though:clap:

I sold my da buddha once i got my underdog! I love their choice in stems, i use the nylon stems and their GonGs as a direct draw. I rarely use water, just direct draw. I also use my wooden stem a lot that i got from Ed. My wooden stem and nylon stems are like one hitters, its amazing!

@Fuzzy Toaster It works fine with a dry stem, however I use it through water 99% of the time. Its perfect for milking up large glass pieces to get hard hitting clouds. Something you need if meditating vs just using for recreational purposes.

I have both and voted LSV because that is what I prefer but I never hit them dry. In your case I would probably go for the Nano.

For those who want to use these with water. The Nano has a restricted draw compared to the LSV which is the least restricted vape I've tried. You have to lift the bowl of the Nano to clear your pieces. Which is a little difficult because the gongs are so short there isn't really a place to grab that isn't hot. The LSV gives bigger hits and you don't have to lift the bowl (I use an 18mm male male adapter w/elb) which makes it a bit easier to use with glass but on the other hand like RUDE BOY said it gets very hot almost to hot to hold. Between 115-125f on my thermometer while in optimal usage range.

  • New E Nano stems and gongs are much thicker than before, so they dont get nearly as hot. On top of that EpicVape also puts a silicone sleeve around the gongs for further heat insulation. Picking it up with bare fingers barely registers as warm.
  • With these type of vapes Id much rather lift the unit to clear. Helps prevent unwanted heating of the material when not actively drawing, plus stirring between hits is highly recommended. E.g. you need to lift the unit off the gong anyway.

I do lift the Nano off the gong but then I also have to lift the gong of the glass piece or it is a bitch to clear. This is because the bowl is so small and somewhat restrictive. With the LSV the bowl is bigger so it clears easily without lifting the gong off the piece. Not a big deal if they have a hot bowl solution now but an extra step nonetheless.

If you are a dry hits kinda vapist, consider using a Gspot Steamroller pipe with the E-Nano. The taste is unparalleled and less harsh than the traditional Nano stems (longer glass path, more cooling of vapor). 18mm Nano gongs will connect to a steamroller perfectly :D

I would strongly recommend the Nano for a dry hitter. It is delicious and very conservative with bud! I generally never put more than .025g of herb in a load!

.... apparent ability to medicate behind belief
I like mine, but that description is over the top. I have a half dozen other vapes without dust on 'em that medicate equally well. It's best attribute, IMO, is versatility- easy to conserve or hit big, using the gong adapter.

I've never used one, just going by what I've read/seen. @max What vapes do you think are most medicating in relation to the amount you're packing?

So, if that's the case then one can say they all "medicate beyond belief" (whatever that means). And if you want to go down that road, it would be equally as kosher to say that any one of these vapes (Nano included), in and of itself, "medicates beyond belief".

If you want to get technical anyway.

The way I read it, the Nano meets all of the criteria he mentioned, including being able to get heavily medicated. He never said other vapes don't also have one or some of those attributes as well.

Of course I may be reading into things too much... I'm pretty medicated off my Nano right now.

I have to say that it is a little surprising to me that the HA hardly ever get's mentioned in these threads. I would think that it's ease of use and efficiency, along with it's flexibility, would make it a good choice for many new users. It has been for me so far, but I haven't used many other vapes. I do love the fact that it needs no stirring to fully exhaust it's load.
So, while I am not an experienced vaper, as a noob I have found the ease of use of the HerbalAire quite satisfactory using the whip, bags, or glass.

^Good point herbalaire is very versatile great for a newbie to figure out. From the sounds of it @Fuzzy Toaster is new to vaping. So while he thinks he might not like glass maybe he will or maybe he will like the whip or maybe direct draw, etc.

Everytime I visit the HA thread I want one!

Skip a few minutes forward, HA worker gives great explanation:

Hey Caligula,

Thank you so much for the videos. Helped me out a lot. I went thru most of them

1) you taught me how to do dabs with enano. Does the organic cotton have any taste? Or is it all flavor of the concentrate

2) on the kiss 3.7 globe video, how did you get it so milky. What voltage are you running it?

Us newbies appreciate the videos. Best way for us to learn.
