While there is a manual convection vapwood fanclub and this device still keeps rocking, this thread isn't super dynamic. So a lil push:
If you don't get any discount, don't hesitate a second a grab a Lil Bud anyway. Mine is 1 year now as my daily driver and it's the best purchase I ever made.

Thanks for the heads up. It certainly looked like this thread was mostly abandoned but I didnt want to get shot for posting in the wrong one. Ive recently become less scared of unregulated devices. Ive had a hard time finding as much info as I like on this product (most of the images here dont work) but I like the guys ideals and the different heater.

Joined the family through a recent trade and I absolutely love it. It’s my first unregulated vape and I’ve been able to get pretty great results with it already.

I've had mine for about 18 months, maybe a skosh longer. Love it. Not sure what you purchased but you should get everything you'll need to start a session as soon as your batteries are charged.
And you'll dial in the right combination of variables: pack, screen placement, amount of product, and length and strength of draw. It's fun to learn.

Nice to see some renewed interest in this self regulated beast of a vape. While unregulated isn't for everyone, those who can tame the beast will experience quite the pleasurable, on demand, full convection experience - sans electronic controls - and some serious wood!

I realized I needed to form some coils for this batch of LB's. All done, final assemblies starts right after Thanksgiving. Thank for your patience this month., I've had a couple of dental / sinus issues that delayed things, but am on the mend and ready to build classics.
Work on a heat dispersion disc continues as well. I'm going to build an LB and Timber with the disc installed to test out right after this batch is shipped. Like I said many times over in the Timber thread, it may be revolutionary, or may suck, or it even might not be much at all.

I have bought a custom stem for the lil bud but I'm not sure why I'm not getting the most of it.
The stem is taller than the original wooden one.
I try to put the same amount of weed but in order to get a little vapor I need to press the button for around 10 seconds and then pull air.
The issue is that that I can't produce vapor with low heat and I end up combusting a lot because of the length I press the button.

Do you have any tips or explanation why am I experiencing this? Maybe the stem is too tall? Maybe it's not made for the lil bud as the ddave ones or lamart.ch ones...

Does the stem make a good seal with the body?
