Left spoon meal, microwave went pop pop snappy sound

Decided to nuke some oatmeal to feed my muscles and mistakenly left the stir spoon in the bowl. Pressed start and within 5 secondss, there were jumping sparks inside the microwave. It got scary so I shut it down but not before a lot of bangs, pops, and snaps. Scared to turn on the microwave now. Please advice me on this matter. I am afraid to turn the appliance on, am I ok here?

It's just some arcing. Just try it again with a cup of water, it'll probably be fine.

Microwaves are forbidden in Russia.. Can be dangerous if operated while drunk.. Checkout a series on youtube called Microwave this or smth like that, lots of fun there..
Once when drinking tea i suddenly felt a stinging pain in my eye,spoons can be really dangerous if forgotten in the cup,no matter if they are in the microwave or not.
