Is there a way to vape without a vaporizer?

Sorry if this has been covered, but wondered what you FC genius' do for a vape when you have no access to a vaporizer or are out of town.
Is there a way to create a primitive vape? Soda can and aluminum foil?

Can be recreated with aluminum if you had to. Just get the distance right so it isn't instant combustion. Or you can tightly wrap herb in aluminum for conduction and heat that. Just have a tube coming from the heated area.

These methods might be combustion with borderline Vaporizing: Hot kniving - using two hot knives, heated up with a stove or torch, and suck with a bottle. Also, the magnifying glass/sun method.

Although not as refined as the method shown above I used to vape with a quartz glass cigarette bat that I used for combustion before I got my first vape. I would carefully heat the end of the bat with a lighter without letting the flame wrap around the end and ignite the herb. I achieved a decent roast with this method.

Or if you have complete disregard for your personal health or simply want to look like a meth addict you can go with the not-so-good old fashioned light bulb vape

My advice: I would either travel with a throw away vape, not partake, or *gasp* smoke
