IS LEGALIZATION THE BEGINNING OF END FOR CANNABIS?

Well, if I'm in it, it must not be cool.
I didn't consume cannabis, so I didn't consider growing. The consumption changed after my family doc came into the exam room with a "script". I hadn't asked for it, and was I surprised at the offer. My Doc felt it would help with chronic migraines. So chronic for chronic. I still didn't think of growing. My neighbor on my right grew, as did the neighbor on the left. One day a swat team and two police departments showed up for the neighbor on the right. They weren't there for pot, and there were 125 plants in the yard. During the search of the home and property, the officers would stop and admire the crop, and also talked about how nice the neighbors crop was belonging to the neighbor on my left. There was a great view from the suspect neighbors back porch, and the officers walked through and around the plants, so there was no mistake about the plants. The plants weren't taken, the police didn't come back for them. We actually have a police drug task force office at the end of our block, and the officers often cut through the alley, and there are potent smells of skunk and Deisel near harvest. I live two minutes from the main police station as well.
After this, planting a few plants didn't seem like such a big deal. In fact, it was empowering to be able to grow my own medicine for the year. Every year someone tries to steal the crop from neighbor on the right, but so far no police have showed interest beyond admiration during the past arrest.
Right now, what seems to be happening is the permit department wants you to have permits, and you can get fined without a permit. Better than worrying about the police, but permits aren't fun, or sexy, and why am I giving the city money so I can garden? I don't know if legalization is the beginning of the end for cannabis, but things are for sure changing.

As a caregiver grower I look forward to legalization. I haven't had a decent vacation in many years. I've been lucky in that I have great patients, but it gets old. I enjoy growing, outside I have eight, 4 x 15 ft and two 5 x 25 ft raised beds for our veggies, but I wouldn't mind one or two small indoor canna grows per year, and a much smaller electric bill.

Most likely I won't stop until health forces me to do so, or more hopefully when my patients can get great meds at fair prices with more choices that I can offer. I do feel obligated to help my patients and won't leave them wanting. But I really hope legalization helps the sick and disabled more than corporations, and that it finally gives me a break.

I myself plan for legalization - whether it comes or not. I don’t really want to do this for money, though enough money to go away for a weekend would be nice. I like the plant itself, the deva spirit, for me it seems a very two-sided conversation. I enjoy growing it and being around it while it grows. I enjoy smoking it, vaping it and eating it. I enjoy sharing it wth friends

Personally, I hope we eventually have growers’ clubs of some sort, to further research, to share new varieties - and to keep ourselves from hoarding far more weed than we could ever consume....

Exactly. It's a wonderful plant. It's uplifting to the spirit. I've got two that are growing new buds, leaves, a month after harvest. Every day I look to admire the tenacity of the plant. Every day I ask, what is my contribution to the garden? How can I improve the lives of my plants? As far as it being about money, I am happy to grow to save what I might have spent on it. In California, 2018, I can give away up to an ounce. Like most people, I know a few that aren't in a position to grow and it's a privilege to share. It would be fun to have a Seed And Weed exchange. Bring your bud and seeds, and trade. Like a cookie party at Christmas. Being able to have a small gathering in the back when the buds are in bloom. That would be a fun social group. Having a surplus is nice, but then there are storage issues, and how long can it stay potent? It seems a plant made for sharing. On the other hand, plenty of people see it as money, so I'm the one off here .
I know I sound like an idiot. Seed exchanges? Garden parties? But wouldn't it be nice to not have to be hiding or fearful of someone finding out? A few trusted friends. My buds and my bud, as it were.
And FC helps provide a place for discussion. More than a few people here I'd vape with, including @ClearBlueLou

In my state right after our medical law went into effect in 08, compassion clubs formed. I was fairly heavily involved in a local club. It was fun, but after a while attendance dropped off. Some just got the info they needed and went on their own. Some were free loaders that left in a huff. Some showed up drunk. And like most clubs just a few did everything. A natural progression I suppose.

One of the things I did in our club was to teach folks how to grow. I gave classes at meetings and went into members homes to help them in growing. In about 75% of the homes I went into, there's no way I would use or share their herbs. Real horror stories, people using pesticides, and unhealthy products was common. Growers blasting herbs with butane through pvc pipes in houses with no ventilation. In general crazy shit, lol.

Eventually our club changed directors and the new one had dollar signs in her eyes and ended up in jail. That ended the club.

Where I live now there is a very informal club, that meets in a library. But half the time 2-3 people show up. At times no one shows. And for me it's a 50+ mile round trip. So I don't bother anymore.

I don’t think you sound like an idiot at all - maybe I’m an idiot, too, but it sounds like a solid and sound and happy life to me.

When the day comes, I’ll gladly share my stash with you.

Sorry to hear the experience wasn’t more rewarding...I think it would be tough to make something so ad-hoc sustain itself, so I’m not surprised that the few did the most, and then it petered out. I imagine you could just make yourself available to like-minded folks, it should be able to grow pretty naturally, I’d think. Have cards. Ask friends to mention you if they hear someone’s beginning to think about a grow. You’ll develop “your people” I feel sure, stoners tend to be friendly folks (but you know all this).

@ClearBlueLou, if you are ever in Nor Cal, drop by and I'll be happy to gift you an ounce. We could be the nucleus of the envisioned future. A network of kindred spirits. Bud based care and share. Or, you know, just generally friendly, sharing people that like to vape and talk weed.
Wait, we are already that.
Well, come get your ounce anyway. Call first.

Well here are a few extra measures that are very little known still in the cannabis world which make a substantial difference to the health, growth and yield of all plants.

Anybody who genuinely wishes to improve the results with absolutely no side effects and very minimal extra cost just a small initial layout would do very well to listen to this and actually look into it I have been telling people this information for years but nobody actually pays any attention which is ridiculous because it is such an excellent hack to improve your results.

Basically- using South Pole magnegized water only to feed your plants will the entire growth cycle. This is just water which has been treated with the South Pole side of a magnet and is especially stimulating to the growth of plants and is all round extremely beneficial resulting in better growth and a bigger yield as well as increased resilience and vigour.

This is all founded by science that has been practiced by NASA and the military for long times also firmly established is how magnetising the seeds for several days before planting also greatly enhances the results and will have a beneficial effect on the plant throughout it's entire growth stage especially when paired with magnetized water from the same size of the magnet which in our case has always been South Pole.

Here are a few links of intetest.
https://jonbarron.org/magnets-and-bioavailability-water
https://www.ehow.com/how_8014345_magnetize-seeds-before-planting.html

LOADS more material on the subject, all well established. Using filtered water will be much better than tap water as well whether you magnetize it or not.

The next one, take as you will. I swear to you it works and makes a very positive difference to the plant growth and yield. It's just a bit unusual sounding and airy fairy possibly to some people but as we are learning more as a race I think we are becoming more open to realising that there is so much more going on energetically than we have previously considered.

Have a browse anyway I would say 100% definitely look into magnetising your water if you are at all serious about wanting to get better results and have healthier, happier plant.

And just see what you think about the orgonite, if you are open to the concept it might not hurt to give it a go as well sometime.

I hope you may gain from this info if you try any of this out please give me a shout and let me know I would love to hear some feedback and good luck whatever.

Oh, how fun! Would love to see pictures of your grow, especially the contrast between the treated and untreated plants. What % would you say this improved your yield? How much time would you say was involved in treating your water? Extra expense? We're the entire plants larger, or just the bud? Did the larger plants, if any, require extra inputs beyond the water? If they needed extra food due to size, what did you use? It would be facinating if the plants weren't larger, but the buds were. That would imply indoor application's. I'm assuming plants were outdoors. Have you tried indoor growing with this method? Did the plants get too big for the tent, or did you find you could use fewer plants to fill the same space? This seems interesting, especially for indoors. Would love to see pictures. It's great to hear this works so well for you. I can barely find the South side of my house, myself. Directionally impaired. Always interesting to see how people choose to grow. I have some fun garden ideas for compost myself, but I'm an outdoor grower.

I agree w/ MadriGal: I’d love to read a report of your experiences with pix.

I’ve been familiar with Reich and his work for a long time, though I have never had the time and opportunity to investigate his Orgone work. I can tell you that his insights into character armor among other things have had a terrific impact on the work I do, and I’ve been trying to work my way through his corpus. Unfortunately, after his engagement with Orgone, he began to rewrite earlier works, and the unmodified texts are tough to find.

I know that many people have experimented with the reactivity of plants to stimuli for which they seem to have no sense as we understand it. Many of them have been scientists, many of them have been ‘green thumb’ types, some of them have had ‘philosophical predelilictions’, some have been moved by economic necessity...things like this, however, do not get serious scientific attention beyond scorn - or as a professor told a science student I knew: “if you want a career in the sciences, you will keep such research strictly off the books, and you will never mention any such line of inquiry to anyone again, including me” (he had been working with bacterial cultures to see if he could determine a response from a culture by interacting with it...and got results).

My intro to such topics was during my training as a bodyworker, and there were none at the time, so when I was confronted with things that could not be waved away, yet were inexplicable, I was compelled to come up with a conceptual model for what I was dealing with, and that can start to go woo really fast if you don’t remain tied to reality. The basic model of an innate, emanant energy infusing individual beings, however, works and works well when understood. And it works in a very pragmatic, done-deal kind of way, with lasting result and improvement over time.

So I’m not just idly curious, I’m actively interested.

Okay lots of Q's. For a start the reason we even came across these approaches is because I have the most severe allergies and I'm allergic to practically all fertilisers, even organic ones and we have had several harvests where I was allergic to the whole lot and couldn't use it at all.

100% outdoor. And when I say South Pole magnetized water this is done in our case by simply standing our water on top of a magnetic water coaster on the South Pole side.

There are numerous ways I believe of treating the water with magnets but the magnets have to be of a certain strength and this method is so simple and effective and works for us.
We use "Norstar Magnetic Water coasters" and simply stand the large watering cans on top of the South Pole side in the garden- two large watering cans with one coaster each filled with filtered water and just resting on the magnets until needed.

So there is no extra cost once you have purchased a coaster it's a simple as that if anything you could argue it two ways from here nutrient uptake will be more efficient so you could probably use less but at the same time the plants will thrive and grow more like a teenager and will require sustenance.

So that was a good question @Madri-Gal . And no it's not like a certain nutrient which just increases the size of a buds but that's a fair question to the plants generally just grow better and bigger, but at the same time are more productive per branch, foot etc.
And actually due to my allergies we are unable to provide sufficient fertilizer and they do suffer in the later stages of their life and we would get significantly better results if we could find something else natural organic which I could guarantee I'm not allergic to but it is too much of a risk to take anymore so we stick with what we have for the meantime.

Never done indoor, but absolutely no reason why both the magnetized water and orgonite would not work exactly the same in terms of the amount of difference it will make.
@Madri-Gal sorry I don't have any control pictures for you, in a side-by-side sense but this just isn't needed for us to be 1000% convinced that these approaches make a difference it's not just the pot plants my mum is an amazing gardener and his kept the most astonishing garden for decades and she has observed unquestionable improvements to the entire garden due to the orgonite we have out there, and this is without even using magnetized water on any of those plants or trees.

We have also observed and unquestionable miraculous improvement with sickly house plants which are fed magnetized water and 24 hours later are unrecognisable and perked up doing really well. Otherwise the proof is in the pudding we get excellent results despite having a North Easterly facing garden which loses the sun early in the day and the year, and a far from Ideal fertiliser regimen for plants which outgrow their nutrients quite quickly.

Anyway, here is a link to one of my IG posts- see in the comments and I give a brief description of the approach and the fertilisers we use etc.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BmbTuwkFc7J/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=4w4n58d4hfmt
And here was Auto Brooklyn Sunrise no 3 at day 77 harvest, 123 grams dry yield.

Cant think what else to add now, but thank you both @ClearBlueLou and @Madri-Gal for being so open and receptive to this, it is genuinely so worth knowing about and implementing.

I have this bad habit of coming back to a comment and expanding on it?
So, my last comment is now more than twice as long as it was, so I put this up to let @Alexis and @Madri-Gal know...

Are you aware of experiments using north-pole-magnetized water? Water in which a dipole magnet has been immersed? Personal observations on same?

Are you in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere?
How long would you say the water sits on the magnet? Is it covered? Is it tap water?
Are you sensitive to greensand, oyster shell, compost?

Thanks for the thoughtful tag. And very interesting, not to mention refreshing, to hear you touch on some of your own experiences and feelings.
Indeed, why should this concept of the state of the energy around us and how we can affect it positively, be so far-fetched?

Thankfully, we are as a race quickly waking up to new ideas, conepts and realisations. So each year as it passes, with increasing confidence I can approach the stranger and say "place orgonite around your plant and watch it thrive", and there is ever increasing chance that their imagination can be open to the concept.

Personally, I really don't go too deep into the science and I'm not even really curious for interested in very much in life just the basics that I need to know. Always seeking for the simple bottom line which will suffice me carrying forward in whatever Direction is easiest and most rewarding at the time.

Long term Lyme Disease has kind of killed my interests and curiosities in life, but not that all thst could not return with healing and an increase in energy.

But a very basic thing related to the orgonite, and largely why we got into it in the first place- EMF's, or Electromagnetic Fields. Very very danaging, disruptive things- they are a chief and primary "contributer" ("cause", but not in all cases or- alone) to cancer and tons of major health conditions.

The EMF's are continuously increasing we are being saturated by them literally exponentially with time as more and more wireless Wi-Fi networks and similar technology are installed and set up all over the place with increasingly powerful signals.

It's like creating harmful weapons out of thin air with there being a seemingly infinite amount to be tapped into. And the whole concept of the orgonite is to do with the "DOR" energy as they call it- "Deadly Orgone energy", which exists as a harmful energy which is pulled and sucked in by the electromagnetic Fields and is doing the harm rather than the actual Fields themselves.

With the idea being that the orgonite works powerfully to clean and re organise this disorganised energy structure and neutralizing to a varying extent the harmful effects of the EMF's.

So we have our orgonite all around our house on the electrical sockets and items especially the Wi-Fi router which also has an aluminium mesh casing around it now.
Smart metres are a travesty they are as powerful as a mobile phone mast inside your home and have ruined many lives since coming into widespread circulation.

This is all well understood by the perpetrators of the program many people think they are spying devices which they surely are but much more than this they are actually energy weapons against the biology and consciousness of humanity, an important part of the comprehensive regime to suppress, sicken, weaken and control us.

So this is one primary way in which orgonite is alleged to help, by neutralising this harmful DOR energy to an extent.

Gosh, thought trail died again. But I dont think I had a point anyway!?

I find it tricky to navigate Reich’s work on the Orgone, because I have my own understandings of and approaches to the subject and its applications. I learned a long time ago not to throw over what I know just because I find a new original (which is what he was). It will take time, but I’ll see what it takes to weave the two together...or at least to make a map

You guys might want to read a book called WHAT A PLANT KNOWS. It's science yes, but easy to read and understand and it explains plant's reactions to different stimuli. Very informative and well written plus you can get it in ebook form.

Having spent a career in and around electric power plants, I should be dead now right, lol. All those emf's?

@Alexis there is some new research on lime disease by folks treating with cbd's. It might be worth a look, if you haven't yet.

I love science. Love, love, love it. The more science the better. You can even throw experiments and statistics in there. Controlled studies, nice. Not enough science, I say, and I go get more. Just ordered the book from Amazon. What A Plant Knows, A Guide To The Senses. Daniel Chamovitz, right? Hope so. Looks good anyway. Thank you, @shredder
