Watched this vid and loved Hamm's presentation :D Was laughing so hard when I got it. I love how technical his glass pipes are. Incredibly simple at times, but so precise and clean. His art isn't bad either.

Hamm + Concentrates = MAD SCIENCE :science:
(skip to ~0:38 for the money shot)

The mechanics of this thing still confuse me no matter how many times I watch it

That's his oil burner bub. I wish there were better videos of that thing. It seems like its an oil candle that continuously heats a bowl. Works like a tiki torch or those candles where the wick floats around in oil.

Yea the thing i'm mostly confused by is how he drops the dab in, lets it form up vapor/smoke and hits it after waiting.

On bitfreakglass.com, Hamm has some oil burner slides for sale, so only a $170 investment to figure out how they work

Here's an explanation I found on tokecity...but its still pretty puzzling

Looks like this is a mini version of his and you just light the bottom with a bic lighter and then when it's the right temp you drop the oil. The bowl must keep the vapor or smoke contained somehow before you inhale. I want one haha

Anyone see Hamms new bubblers ? Its pretty f ing cool.these things stack..I read he invented the recycler .Although I dont want to spend 400-500 on glass. I can see myself spending 200..I saw a sick vapor bubbler on aqualab really liked the slime and in 2 days they sold them both...[IMG][IMG]

"Years of research have lead Hamm to create the newest diffusion system on the market: the Exo-Diffuser. Jet technology separates and projects the airstream, forcing maximum surface contact for better filtration and cooling. "

He has a website for them with a long description for each model

For the "contact" part of his WaterWorks website, it says store name is optional so doesn't look like it is limited to wholesalers.

There is an alcohol oil burning lamp down in the can. That is lit and the smoke and fuel vapor travel out of a chimney that has an outlet higher than the concentrate bowl and device intake. The burner heats (and keeps warm) the concentrate dish that sits under the intake. Kinda works like a belly button or pariscope slide... But with heat always on... I wonder if it burns the oil?

I emailed the hamm waterworks website.I asked if the small exo diffy bubblers could be made with a female joint..A woman named ariel replied saying that all pieces are made with male joint, but they do sell females slides for flowers:\ . I asked the price and she replied that a big shipment is headed out to its big retailers, think dablab.com, aqualabtech too.So that was that. Im still interested , Just wish I could go directly through them. They are too big for that tho...and good for them.Im just glad I got a reply in a few days time.

I LOVE Hamms work! I've been lucky enough to have owned two pieces by the man, a hurricane bubb and one helluva burly maria tube. Love the shaping, love the function. He's one of the few artists whose work I prefer sans color. This thread makes me miss my Hamms a bit.

While I'm troubled by the past-tense of this statement I guess It's better to have Hamm'd and lost I suppose...
While the purple part was a psychological challenge I had to overcome, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the last $200 piece ALT had. I was wanting a stumpy lil travel rig, and Hamm is easily my favorite blower. I'm excited!

Phrasing? (please don't be offended,it's an Archer joke.)
Would be a great t-shirt slogan though. You can stop reading now, because at this point I'm just making myself giggle.

I was so offended by your crass and vulgar statements that I silently wept for a good 15 minutes. Congratulations sir.
