Interchangeability 18650 batteries

I'm curious about using non-OEM 18650 batteries (assuming of course the specs match OEM - specifically 18650 lithium-ion batteries 3,000 mAh and nominal voltages of 3.6-3.7 volts).

Has anyone tried this?

It seems like there could be a worth-the-bother cost savings here.
Can anyone speak to this issue?

There's loads of 18650 batteries available.

If the specs are right for what your using no problem at all just beware a lot of fakes available.

If your pulling more amps then the battery has that's when a problem will accur.

Sometimes to stupid to become a fool
More important than V and mAh is the current the cell can deliver...

To calculate that it depends on how high u set the monetary value for your body parts ...
