how to make oil out of some weed to vape in a vape pen

Hi all i don't know much about vape pen i am familiar with herbal vaporisers like the magic flight launch box.

Anyway i read on the news that you can extract the thc out of your weed in glycerine then vape the glyerine in a vape pen

Has anybody done this and if so which method is easyest for a begginer to extract an oil from weed to be vaped with a vape pen
